Just found out about this amazing form of artistic expression, so I'm new to the scrapbooking world. I'm very excited to get started!!!

I live in Chicago, but my heart belongs to Wisconsin (aka my sconnie), where I was born and raised. Plan on moving back there within a year. I'm a gigante fan of one-liners from goofy movies (my current fav is The 40 Year Old Virgin) and stand-up comedy (any Mitch Hedburg fans out there??). Otherwise I like to read, do crosswords and sudoku, cook, convince myself to go work out, and play spider solitare on my computer (yes I realize what a dork I am). I hate talking on the phone and doing laundry...oh, and canned peas. I know...random.
my family consists of...
a big jumble of people related by blood, love, or both. I come from one of those terribly complicated families that I'd probably have to draw a tree for you to understand. I love them more than anything in the world.
I feel most creative when...
I'm caffeinated. All of these ideas fly out of my brain. I also get motivated for creativity when I'm feeling emotional, which is often.

Update: When I'm on SIS! And when I'm at work and I can't scrap. I always get these awesome ideas and when I get home I'm usually too lazy or tired to do them. =(
my favorite scrapbooking products are...
stamps. As I'm new to the game, I don't have a lot of experience with scrapbook supplies or have a lot of stuff, but I am currently obsessed with rubber stamps. They're so frickin' cool!
my favorite color is...
blue.
I scrapbook because...
something was always missing when I would just paint or just write. I realized that scrapbooking is a great way to combine my visual and written art. Not to mention, it's great therapy.

This question is just mean. Ummm...End of the Road by Boyz II Men...NO, Given Him Somethin' He Can Feel by En Vogue...NO, Donny Hathaway's live version of Jealous Guy...NO! Creep, by Radiohead. I can't decide! They just keep comin'!!!!!!
my favorite movie quote is...
Update: I totally forgot about this one even though I say it almost every day!: "You a bad mailman" from The Ladies' Man. Oh, lord...to many to name. But one of them would have to be "Your Mom Goes to College" (Kip, Napoleon Dynamite) and "And how did you feel, being denied these Hungry, Hungry Hippos?" (Donnie Darko).
I almost couldn't live without...
chapstick. Seriously, if I could only pick one thing to bring to a desert island it would probably be this!

Welcome to SIS:) My real life sister lives in Chicago too, I'm sure you must know her, right? And holy cow, I forgot all about Mitch Hedburg, my husband and I spent a few days laughing so hard we cried at him (thanks for the reminder)

I live in Chicago but am a TRUE Wisconsite!! We plan on moving back in the next five years probably...where are you from originally?? :)
