my favorite SISters

I'm a 9th grade Biology & Physics teacher in Port Huron, MI. I have 3 sisters and 4 nephews. I love being with my family and relaxing at my house with friends.

I love scrap-booking whenever I can find a spare moment. With a new baby, a 7 1/2 - year old, 2 dogs, a full-time job, & a husband, it's not very often that I get time to myself. And, if I do, it's usually used for sleeping! :)

I'm lucky to have a very supportive husband who I am so blessed to have found. Without him, finishing my masters this past fall would have been impossible! He also loves to let me indulge in my scrapbooking obsession. He always "lets" me go to any event (no matter how near or far) and is a great sport about oohhhhhing & ahhhhing over my completed pages!

I am also lucky to have been introduced to this website by my friend Melissa. I have met some of the most brilliantly creative & wonderfully generous people here. Love to you all! :D

my family consists of...

My cute hubby, Nick. My sweet step-son, Jake. My adorable new daughter, Alina Claire. My canine son, Aragorn. And my canine daughter, Arwen.
The newest addition to our family, Alina Claire, arrive 5 weeks early. She sure surprised all of us, but it's been the best surprise of my life! :) Even though she was early, she is healthy and doing great! She is the first grand-daughter for both of our parents. (Can we say S-P-O-I-L-E-D?!?!?!)

I feel most creative when...

I am around other scrappers. I am pretty new to scrapping, so I like to have other people around to inspire me! I've also realized that I don't need to spend hours on a page or fret over how a project will turn out. Some of my favorite pages were done in the blink of an eye and I LOVE that!

my favorite scrapbooking products are...

I'm not partial to any one product brand. I just love anything colorful or vintage looking. I use lots of embellishments, buttons, letters, inks, brads, eyelets, and distressing tools.

my favorite color is...

I haven't really found that I'm partial to any one color in my scrapbooks. I love to use a variety of papers & colors.

I scrapbook because...

I want to be able to look back at my life over the years and remember the small details that made it incredible.
