My name is Bridget, and I am a scrap-crazy, football-loving teacher who loves life! I love to laugh and have fun and wish I could do that all the time. I am from the New Orleans area, and I am so proud to say that I have returned there after Hurricane Katrina. My home may have been destroyed, but my spirit wasn't.
my family consists of...
Mom, Dad, and my younger sister. I am mommy to the three most wonderful cats ever--Puddy, Kirby, and Ollie. I love them so very much, and I can't imagine life without them or my family. I am also blessed to have lots of little cousins to spoil and create layouts about.
I feel most creative when...
I'm always feeling creative! I will wake up in the middle of the night with an idea. I've been known to sketch ideas during faculty meetings or while my students are taking tests.

paper, paper, and more paper! One of my favorite ways to embellish is to cut out elements from my patterned paper.

I scrapbook because...
it preserves memories for future generations, it is an artistic outlet for me, and I have found it to be the best therapy for me.

Thanks for the comments on my Cafe du Monde layout! We have close friends who live in New Orleans and in Baton Rouge & we visit all the time. We love it!

And the fact that you are from New Orleans and a Saints fan... well that makes you even cooler! My future In-Laws live in New Orleans... I LOVE to visit!
