My scrapping philosophy is this: It shouldn't MATTER what "level" scrapper you are. It shouldn't be about whether or not your pages LOOK a certain way. It should be about you. If you NEED lots of photos or one on your page, you should have them. If you NEED everything lined up in a row, that's how they should be. If you don't LIKE the artsy feeling on your page, you shouldn't have it. If your therapy comes in the chalk and dust let it come to you. Your photographs and pages should GIVE something to you. It might be satisfaction in knowing that your kids will know WHO is in every photo. It might be that you need to create and allow your feelings to show. Your pages are not MY pages. I do not pretend that I know what you need. YOU are the only one who knows and can tell your story. I don't care HOW you create. I just want you to DO it. You never know when that day will come, and your family finds that you waited too long. Do you want to leave this life without leaving that story only because you didn't scrap "good enough"? Get your story out there. All lined up in rows, simple, tilted, messy, full or cluttered. The point is to TELL IT and let your true YOU show. Even the parts you think aren’t pretty. The final product’s APPEARANCE is really not important. Let your Art SHOW.
