I'm a homeschooling SAHM to 2 precious kiddos. A native Texan living in Colorado & though I am awed daily by the mountains, I long to go home to Texas (I know, call me crazy.) My very best friends are long distance & were made via the online scrapping sisterhood.

my mother was orphaned at 10 months & has always had a huge void & still does at age 66 because there is so much she wonders about...I don't want my kids to wonder...I have a lump in my throat just writing this!!

Hi...yes we live about 25 minutes from Gruene! We love going up there and sticking our feet in the water, eating at the Gristmill, going to the General Store, etc. We must go there at least once a month!! Let me know if you ever need any Honey Butter (my fave) or anything else!! Thanks for your sweet comments, too.
