i'm katie! i like to make things, but you probably already knew that. i'm 21 and currently in art school studying graphic design... but scrapbooking is my other love! before sis i wasn't sure if there were too many young, free-spirited scrapbookers out there like me, so finding this community has helped me a lot!

besides scrapbooking, i like to listen to all kinds of music, read good books, write the occasional prose, watch thursday night tv, and of course, veg around! i can be pretty lazy at times.

my family consists of...

my dad, mom, 16 year old brother, me, and all my animals (it's a zoo)! they include lots of dogs and cats.

I feel most creative when...

i'm listening to inspiring music and am so entranced in what i'm doing that i don't even remember how i created something.

my favorite scrapbooking products are...

i am really digging the latest papers from cosmo cricket... they are so colorful and inspiring! i am also really into character brads (i bought some dino ones recently that are adorable). the love, elsie line (rip!) and cute ribbons by her or anyone are also a plus. anything unconventional that can be used in creative ways is cool by me.

my favorite color is...

I scrapbook because...

it's the best creative outlet i have, and i have always been obsessed with collecting papers, pens, and small objects.
