Hello, my name is Mélanie Blackburn and I live in beautiful Ottawa, Canada with my husband Daniel and our beautiful daughter Danika.

I have been scrapbooking since April 2005 and my main source of inspiration is my family. I love everything about this hobby, from taking the perfect picture, to finding the perfect paper and preserving memories for the generations to come. Scrapbooking is a method of relaxation for me, after a hectic day at work; I look forward to having some time to myself to create. I like to capture a feeling and let my work speak for itself.

I am more of a "moment" scrapper as opposed to an "event" scrapper. I would describe my style as eclectic with an accent on details. I am very passionate about this hobby.
