Scrapbooking Profile

I am 31 years old and live in NYC with my amazing husband, Adam our dog Mae and my ever expanding collection of scrapping supplies. I have built (um…hoarded) this collection over three years and I am so embarrassed to admit I have never made a layout! In my defense I do make cards but the cards never give me the freedom I dream I will get from scrapping but it always seemed overwhelming. I have been pouring over the artwork on this site, and I am utterly amazed at the quality and imagination of you women…I am so eager to get started I am inspired and no longer overwhelmed. Tx.
I’m sorry this is so long guys- but my life is beyond complicated, please hang in there, you will get it. I have stage 4 metastatic Breast Cancer… and honestly? It sucks! it totally SUCKS! but all things considered I am hanging in there and doing really great.
I have no room to wallow right now because we have finally received some good news, finally some joy! We are going to have a baby- whoo hoo!! our gestational carrier finally got knocked up and our dream is coming true. I can’t imagine any better inspiration than a new baby. Your layouts have been inspiring me for days so please borrow some babyration. Tx.
