My real name is Michelle. I'm 37 years old - born and raised in South Africa.
I work full time as a logisitcs mananger at a large oil and chemicals company called Sasol. I live in a town called Sasolburg. That says it all - the town was named after the company! To be honest - I hate my job and wish I could take photos and scrap all day!! My mother language is Afrikaans - I therefore beg you to excuse my English for she is not always so good! I'm a Christian and rely on my Saviour in everything I do. Have to mention that I'm "bi-scraptual" which means that I do both digi and paper scrapping. Paper is my first love and will always be my preferred medium but from time to time I like to do a quick (or not so quick) digi page - just because I can! :) my family consists of...
I got divorced 7 years ago and have 2 beautiful boys - Michael (12) and Marco (10).
I think I might just have found my soulmate - at last!!! Leon is my boyfriend. We don't live together (but we're thinking about it okey! :) We've know each other for 14 years and been together for about 5. I love him to pieces! Leon has the cutest little (maybe not so little) girl named Celine (8) who I adore. I always wished I could have a daughter and now I have one - yay! The last (but by no means least) member of our little family is our daschund Daisy! She's 5 years old and we all adore her. I feel most creative when...
To be honest - I have a mojo with a mind of it's own!. His name is "yoyo" and true to his name he is here the one moment and gone the next. I sometimes get creative ideas while I lie awake in bed (did I mention that I'm an insomniac?) but then I'm too tired / lazy to jump up and do something. Sometimes I write down the idea and try it later. I'm also very creative while I'm at work sometimes wishing that I was at home where I could try out my ideas there and then. When I have time to scrap Yoyo sometimes decides to go on holiday and I sit and look at beautiful lo's made by my SISters all day long and get nothing done myself. :( But when Yoyo returns - man, there's no stopping me!
my favorite scrapbooking products are...
Chipboard
Brads Ribbons Buttons My favourite brands: Making Memories 7 Gypsies Fancy Pants KI Memories my favorite color is...
sky blue
I scrapbook because...
I know the right reason (and I use this one to ease my guilt when I spend too much on stash) is that I want to create everlasting memories for my kids and their kids and so on. I really and truly believe this too but I'm not so sure if they would really care about all this in a 100 years time.
To be honest - my real reason is because I'm addicted to the process and the beautiful products and the way it makes me feel! I look at the world differently because I scrap. So I guess the bottomline is - by now I don't really have a choice - I scrap therefore I am! :) the best song in the world is...
Now you've got me with this one! I wrecked my brain but there is no ways that I can only pick one song! I love, love, love music and I have such a wide variety of genres that I listen to! Songs are linked to events in my live and I just can't pick only one, so here's my short list: Words by FR Davids is my

Thanks...I am a little behind on the dailies. My furbaby passed away, so it has been hard to get back into the swing of things. Catching up this weekend though!
