My challenge was to take what was old and make it new again - and to use at least 1 "old" photo.
So I dug through the wasteland that is my scraproom and found some MM Perspectives die cut cardstock. I cut that down to 8.5 x 11 and adhhered a piece of vellum from heaven knows where over it. Then I found a piece of patterened paper (the colored squares) from Paper Heart Studio. Are they still even in existance? I used a textured cardstock alphabet from DCWV as well as a piece of their sticky-backed ribbon. I found a flower brad - probably the newest thing on the page, but at LEAST a year old. And then the bottlecaps. Oh, the bottlecaps. NEVER used 'em in my life, but I die cut some flowers (with the same vellum adhered to some of those DCWV "mat pack" cardstock papers), used some rub-ons that came with the caps (from L'il Davis) and topped them with some buttons I've had forever. And they look pretty cute! :) The tag is from Bo Bunny Press. I did my journaling on a transparency (which I rarely do anymore) and I stuck it all on an old piece of cardstock from a set that I never use anymore because they're not textured.
My journaling explains the photos:
"Every spring, these cute litte pink flowers come up all over the cemetary that's at the end of our driveway. So we went for a drive the other day and there they were, all a-bloom. I told Matthew and Martha about a photo Chris had taken of the boys when they were little - they were laying on their bellies propping their chins up on their hands. It was such a sweet photo. Being that I had my camera with me, we kind of all got the same idea at once and we got down on the grass and I took the same photo, but with Martha in Dustin's place. It also turned out SO cute! How fun it was to pull out that old photo and compare the two exactly 24 years later. Still completely adorable! ♥♥♥ 04-27-09"
I also challenged everyone to do this once a month and think that I'll have to take myself up on that! (Either that or clean out my scrap room!) :)
TFL!

lovely! I like the colors and how you used the bottle caps. If you hadn't mentioned they were older supplies, I would never know.
