Well, I know it's not too deep, but it just bugs me that something as dumb as a messy counter can just mess up my head so much! When it's all cleaned up, I'm a new person that can think straight and all is well with the world... What's up with that?
The photos are just a stab at illustrating the problem. But it's really in my head and, well, I couldn't get a good picture of the "good brain/bad brain" thing, ya know?
Anyway - thanks for lookin' and is there anyone else out there that feels the same way? (please?)
;)

I'm the same about having a clean home. If it's a mess, I'm a mess. When it's clean, even my fuzzy kids are happier!

jannypants... brilliance. i know that feeling all too well. and what's more, my husband, for some reason, like to pile the dirty dishes on the counter NEXT to the sink instead of IN the sink, where they belong. like, he'll take them out of the sink and put them on the counter. drives me batty. *sigh*

Oh crap no I cannot believe that I am the only one that ends up with the stressful kitchen and I feel the same way.I leave the house, everything is clean and put away, I come home and it is a disaster and my stress lever goes up 500+ %---and what bugs me the most I just can't block it out go to the scraproom and relax. That the worst part I have to clean that damn kitchen first to get peace of mind. So I know the feeling. So glad you shared this with us. I love it!!!
