and it was adorable
all the sets and style were
just scrapbook pages
waiting to happen!!

it totally could have been rated G - Disney movies are much scarier than this. really adorable - she is soo much a better heroine than say
lohan, spears, hilton

what are you wanting to see at the movies?

what age do you think it is for?
we took my best friend's almost 4 year old twin girls who had never been to the movies (lack of a sitter - long story)
it was short, and there were only a few "moments of peril" i.e. a dark tunnel, her being chased and threatened...

it depends i think on the threshold of your child- these girls loved it, but they don't like Shrek or Ice Age or "scary" cartoons
i imagine because they are real people that could be scary for some

there was no sexual innuendo which i totally appreciated

you could always check it out first, then take your kids - i'd go back just to see the outfits!!

so glad to hear this...have really been looking forward to this! i was a Nancy girl growing up & now my dd is as well! love that there are some things that cross the barriers of time & books seem to be one of them! glad they didn't mess this movie up thinkin it had to be heavy on the "mean girl" stuff or the sexuality part!!

My son and I are going on a little movie date to see it. I like taking him to movies that show him how girls rock w/o acting dumb or wear skimpy clothes (unlike his mom, just kidding).

My 7 year old was a little scared at the end, my 8 year old LOVED it. I think the age will depend on the kid!
