Have you ever met someone who touches you to the soul? Who you just want to put your arms around and hug sooooooo tightly?!??!!?
Well, I have. Only I've actually never met her. And I don't think she knows me from Adam.
But, I love her. She's a huge inspiration to me. And I wanna be more like her.
I sat down the other day and read her WHOLE blog. And the news article attached. And I couldn't get up. I sat there for a long time just stunned at her strength.
And was inspired to be a better person.
So, don't be freaked out, Nitty.Gritty.Jody.
But, you inspire me to my soul!

yeah I read her blog too! Her faith is so inspiring! and she is soooo positive!
Speaking of positive people....did any of you fab girls see The Pursuit of Happyness? OMG!!!!! I saw that last night for the first time and that man has to of been the most positive person ever! He hit a brick wall after brick wall and kept going! What a story! What an inspiration!

jody's story is amazing. her faith is incredible strong to be able to forgive such a wrong. when i first found her blog i did the same thing. read like the whole thing and cried and cried for her loss.
we love you jody. i think i met you at cha summer last year at the sis party. but, i'm excited to see you again.

Did you not just bawl your eyes out? When you finally did get up, was your tummy sore from laughing; your eyes hurting from crying so much; and have a seriously craving for buttercream icing? lol.

Then I really wanted to scrap.
On top of ALL else....all the other ways she's strong, incredible and beautiful.....that girl can create!

But, instead, I left the computer and went and cuddled with my kids on the couch. I needed my kid love and wanted to be sure they got their mom love.

yes and I remember seeing her layout in a mag and reading her story and the day I read and read through her blog, I was like this woman is such an inspiration and just by sharing her story...she is so sweet too and her cooking...wouldnt you just like to drop in for a morning?? Birthday???

Okay everyone.
I've read your posts and I emailed kitleen and this is so sweet, and nothing short of humbling.
I share my story- my pages- my life- not to get all 'gushed about by everyone'...but just as you say- to inspire. I really think that sometimes 'bad stuff' {trials and heartaches and stuff beyond our control} comes into our lives not to break us, but to better us. If people could just embrace these times in life and really seek the beauty or make something good out of these trying circumstances, well then that is when life is really worthwhile and has purpose.
I don't take credit for the attitude I have through all my pain- but totally look to God to give me peace and comfort and the ability to 'see things differently'. When you believe there is more to life than we can see at times, then I believe there is Power to live beyond what life gives us.
Anyway, enough preaching. I really am flattered and moved that so many people can take something away from what I try to give back to the world. I am humbled to see people want to be 'better' or look at their own lives differently. If you can learn anything from me- THAT is the miracle of grief/pain.
Beauty out of ashes. It's so true...yet still so amazing to me.
Thank you for the kind words and lub here. You all have touched me in a real way. So I thank YOU for that.
And would SO love to have a party and just hang out and make a big batch of buttercream and scrap all night long with you! How fun would THAT be in real life!!

But, i get so....overwhelmed with emotion. For real. Which is a good thing. But, I don't know how to get it down "on paper" (on screen?!).
And would SO love to have a party and just hang out and make a big batch of buttercream and scrap all night long with you! How fun would THAT be in real life!!
Oh, yes! This would be fantastic, crazy fun!
