Too bad not everyone appreciates hand made anymore... I used to do craft sales and wanted to STRANGLE people when they said things like "Oh... That must have taken you hours to make".. Uh...... Try WEEKS!!!!!!! Anyway I dont think I can pledge to give only hand made (unless I can go work for X-Box) but I think giving some hand made love is always wonderful.... Maria

missmoxie Model SISter (2541)	# Posted: 26 Nov 2007 14:54 signed a couple of weeks ago. it is a little tough but is so great. i love always having it in the back of my mind before i purchase anything. there are certain things that my family always buys eachother as part of our holiday traditions, but to me the buy handmade pledge is about me buying handmade as much as i can and reconsidering some gifts so that i can. there will obviously still be store bought items, but every little bit helps.
eliseblaha Vogue SISter (3658)	# Posted: 26 Nov 2007 21:32 i love always having it in the back of my mind before i purchase anything. this is what i love about it. it doesn't say you have to make your own...it says to try to buy stuff like it. etsy is my favorite place .. .but there are tons of other boutiquey stores that sell handmade goods.
