Dearly SiS-love-ED.
We are gathered here in celebration
Of the miracle that is the SiS TV Creation;
Where sister and mister alike it seems,
Saw the fruition of their scrap board dreams.
And now From state to state, nd nation to nation
We give thanks for the 1st ever SiSta-bration.
Let me begin with the darling lass,
Who'se vision of SiSterhood has come to pass.
Many thanks to her wild, wonderful scheming.
And countless hours of praying and dreaming,
Which generated the place we call SiS TV
A perfect dream, turned reality.
So before I go further, or kick it into higher gear,
Let us pay homage to the woman,
who brought us all here
Jay to the Jay, that hip, happening southern gem
Had a dream that's now become SiS,
way back when.
Because of dear sweet JJ we found a better place
To be inspired and to share,
& make friends in cyber space.
So with a little bit of magic, and lots of work for this endeavor
JJ's vision turned reality,
a place that's funky, fun, and clever.
So I nod my head to JJ and offer much appreciation
Because of you Big SiSter,
our days are filled with inspiration.
Not only did she create a haven, a place for us all to play
But she also found some amazing talent,
to guide us on our way
The fashionista path, is not something one walks in vain
It involves a lot of thought,
super mojo and sometimes even pain
(Jen Jockish can attest to the tonic scissor woes
Good thing she kept that arm,
and didn't lose any toes.)
And speaking of fashionistas, how could I possibly not give props
To al of the following girls,
who make SiS TV tops.
From their incredible, amazing talent,
and super mad displays
It seems that each one is gifted,
in amazingly creative ways.
Sweet silly KA, has got more than just southern charm
She is a digital diva,
and could never do any harm
*unless you count that spider under her book
Whom she think she killed, but never looked*
There's JoAnne the lovely dutchie, an overseas crowd pleaser
As well as the ever super Heather,
who is cooler than my freezer.
Of course that means I must, give a shout to her partner, HulaHen
Who someday may actually be called Angie,
though I do not know quite when.
And I would be lacking if I were to fail to mention Jan
Who is sweeter than Splenda, says I,
her numero uno fan.
My darling dear Rhian, whom I have dubbed the Russkie
Is so full of inspiration,
I just plum love her so much=ski.
I cannot fail to give homage, to KL the vintage lover
Who can mix ephemera & scraps,
like no one else above her.
I must tip my hat to Cathy, the camera toting queen
Her amazing mix of paper and digi
is some of the best I've ever seen.
And since we share a name, (and that not just me being tricky)
I pay respect to the ever fabulous fashionista,
whom we all know as Nikki
And eclectic style and funk-tabulous tastes are just what Debee knows
While Sarah B is the same you see,
she always keeps me on my toes.
Jen, I may have mentioned, but I will give another shout.
Cause this girl is the definition
of what talent is about.
Now ya'll should know by now, that Martha is no thug,
Even if she's all inked up,
loves to staple, an obsesses about her pug.
Now miss Kimberly may claim to be just a girl in the world
But most of us just know
she is awesomeness unfurled.
Lovely Courtney also rocks the camera, as much as much can be,
And if you don't believe,
look at her shots over at Peachtree.
*That would be Peachtree studios, in case you have to bug
And I also should mention I wasn't paid for that shameless plug.*
Diane is quite daring & let that be your warnin
cause she is brave enough to take & post her pic,
the 1st thing in the morning
Rebecca loves the layering, look at her gallery its plain to see
Another girl who shares that skill
Is the stunning GiGi Kennedy.
They are both so amazing, with their fantastic paper skills
Looking at their galleries can give a scrapper chills.
Oh and look we've come to, the gorgeous Lisa Garay
Who is truly an innovator,
just what more can I say.
But I move on now to Gretchen, who is fabulous and fun
Although I don't think I could be her,
cause I do not like to run.
Now if you check out Jayne's profile, she claims her style's calamity
but if you've seen her gallery
you'd surely disagree,
Her pages are incredible, and that's just how it goes
Even if she tries to trick us,
by going by Nellie Rose.
Colorful and quirky, she is a scrapping dream
Its no surprise that I am referring to
Amy Tangerine.
And now a shout out to MC Ulmer, know as Amber to some of you
She is simply so fantastic,
& of course you know its true.
Then there is a girl, whom we all love, not just like,
That of course would be the ever fabulous gem
We know as Stacy Fike.
And last but never least, the fabulous Ashley Wren
I bet she could make amazing things
with just a gum wrapper and pen.
A little dedication to all my SiSters, so very gorgeous and so great
And a super big Welcome to SiS-a-Versary
two thousand and eight.
The first of its kind, and certainly not last.
I cannot wait to mix and mingle with you all
I know we're gonna have a blast.
Now lets have a little roll, an ice breaker if you will
So we get to know one another, and give those beans a spill
EllyMew Who, my roomy & my Sis,
And TL the Droid Lovebot is a name I just can't miss
I drove in here today with Sasha, ya'll know she's just so Sassy
She not only puts the smile to lips,
but she's also stylin and real classy.
Now I also gotta add, so many other names
Course we're glad that Korbyn made it,
and that she is not in pain.
Let me call on some more sisters, ones who rock my socks galore,
Sisters just like Sally Hanna and Stephanie better known as Livingroom floor
I will not forget Pamela, Bekka, Nancy, or Misty D
And if you haven't guessed by now
the list is longer still, you'll see.
Cause we have so many Tracey's, that came by plane or car
We have Tracy W, TracyK, two Tracy T's
and of course a Tracy R..
We have some double Holly's, both are Holly C
And in Jennifer department there is
Jennifer W, Jennifer H and the spectacular Jennifer P
I'm not even halfway finished, with our SiS attendee roll call
So fret not Barb, Penny, and Gretchen,
I haven't forgotten you all
Hello to Heather Redmore and also Ruth Ann Crocker
And another little shout out to Breanne C,
a fellow Garden state page rocker.
There's still Vanessa and dear Shell, characters I'm sure
And I cannot wait to meet sweet BiT
and get to know her more
I am not forgetting Danica, Andrea or Jill
While I may not know their faces yet,
by Sunday I know I will.
On my list of sisters, there's so many I have not gotten
but Paula, Pam and Kelly M, will not be forgotten
there's vivacious Leslie Miller, and the lovely Julie Tucker
there's a name I must be careful with,
lest I turn into a trucker.
I'm still going with Sonja, Shari, Chelle Green and our sis named Kate
But by the time this poem's finished,
its gonna be so late.
Lets say hello to Jaime, Amanda, and Michelle McCord
And my humble apologies
to any sisters getting bored.
I still have Carolyn, Cathleen, and that darling Courtney Spillane
I am really sorry this took so long,
and that Im being such a pain.
I cannot leave out Cassandra, Melissa and dear Birdee,
or Maria, Lydia, Linda Pearson, and Stephanie B.
Our own TracyNicole, who puts the mod in the squad
While Peggy's obsession for cabbage
often seems quite odd
Still yet there is Sandra, Karen, and even a gal named Paige
And hopefully I'll finish
before we all start to age.
Albertina and Keely, Emily and LeaAnn
All bring some spark to SiS, as much as they can.
Julie is a riot, and Peg Graham is a star
You do not get any nicer than Melissa D or Patricia R.
Susan, Dawn and Lara, and also Audrey Neal
Bring great fun to Sis,
as well lots of zest and some zeal
Now lets call out some attention to the fabulous Sarah K
Whose lover is Nikon,
not that that's strange in anyway.
Still to go we have Sandra, Stephanie M and Kelly O
But I am not quite finished, we still have sisters left to go.
For instance we have Lisa P, Kim Fuller, and a gal named Brook.
And just give me one last moment, to give my list a look.
Ah yes we're getting to the end, with Stacy S and a SiS we call Jane
And I will not try to say PaintIt Chicks name, lest she cause me pain.
Just kidding Chataqua
-you know I'd never knock ya.
Now Victoria , Pam and Tenaya have been patient as can be
But lets end with Susan Welsh,
