you realy want to go to Graceland
did you see my earlier post when I asked who wanted to go to Memphis. When my husband and I drove cross country from NY to San Diego we had to go fast but we stopped.
Well we went to Memphis b/c I wanted to see Graceland and the Civil Rights Museum. Well apparently all of Memphis is closed on Tuesdays so I got to see nothing.
=( And we passed Nashville to go there. I was devastated. I mean when in the world was I going to get myself to Memphis again.
And then SISstock came along. =)

dude, i never even thought about that.... okay maybe i am staying through minday and we can take a road trip to elvis country....yes, i think that is a must! thanks for the idea KA!

okay, I WAS going to take a pass on this, just cause my dd will graduate this June and we have to do the whole prezzie, party thing, plus we are taking her to San Fran to visit for a long weekend...but, oh my heck, I gotta do this!!!!!!!!!!!

court- i checked last night and the cheapest i found was about $300, but KL thinks it will go down as it gets closer to june

I checked as well and found around $300 but here is what I know about airline flights.
Usually they are there cheapest around one month prior to your trip. Not saying they will go down so no one quote me on it, but if you buy them too early you pay a standard rate - too late and you pay too much but somewhere around 1 month out they are starting to get desperate to make sure to fill the spot and therefore prices come down.

I can come! I can come! Hubby will be coming too but he'll do his own thing (we did this once before for a Cabbage Patch thing in GA)...so now I don't need a roomie anymore. And, I don't have to drive by myself!
So, now all I have to do is wait for Thursday.

I know whatEVER you guys plan, it's gonna be GREAT! Even if we only got to sit in a room and stare at each other it would be great b'cause I just want to meet everyone so bad.
I STILL haven't heard yet if we can re-arrange our plans so we can come.
My ONE suggestion would be this - make sure our name tags have our screen names on 'em in addition to our real names... :)

For our IL SIS crop we had our name tags be a challenge. I should post mine. The challenge was to make a tag it had to have the following:
SIS colors
real name/screen name
something recycled
had to show your personality
I will post mine tomorrow!

These are two things I would like to see. I hate it when I get sooooo excited about something and then I have to wait. It's like March and this is happening in June - dude - that's 2 1/2 months away!!!
