Okay well color me embarrassed. Miley Cyrus lives in Franklin! Is it sad that I love her and her Dad?! *embarrassed*

Yeah Nanster, a lot of the country music stars are in Franklin. Like Martina McBride and Tim and Faith. When we were down there it was nothing to see one just out and about. Trace Akins was at (oddly enough) Cracker Barrell in Nashville while we were eating. Al Gore lives in a really nice area just outside Nashville called Belle Meade. It's a bit north west of Franklin though.

Oh and Nan we do have Cracker Barrell around here. SILLY!

Loveless Cafe is the only place I would want to go if we had time. I LOVE that place.

Seriously - my niece would just die if she knew I would be going somewhere close to where Hannah Montana lives. =)

I think it would be awesome if we all went to see Al's 12,000 sq ft house that uses six times more energy than the average American home...but I digress, I didn't mean to start with ole Mr. Gore. ;)

Downtown Nashville - Same distance as Vandy just on the other side of the interstate. My fave is the Wildhorse Saloon (if you want the country music experience). It's HUGE inside

my fave is tootsie's orchid lounge but i would HIGHLY recommend going during the daytime b/c every night i've ever been there it has been p.a.c.k.e.d. and you just can't get the full experience. here are some of the legends associated with tootsies, it's just such a cool place, packed with history. (and i'm NOT a country fan by no means :))

ok.. since yall won't have it in AK I guess I will just have to come my butt down there! I can't tell the family in Missip though 'cause they'd break my neck If they knew I'd flown almost there and not seen them!

*doing a little dance* My hubby said he didn't mind it if I came!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm excited, can ya tell! I wonder who will fly the most miles to be there! :)
So, flying into Memphis will be cheaper and I'll need a roomie. :)
Anyone flying into Memphis wanna share a ride, let me know. I'm very good at reading maps and am not a slow poke.

Looking forward to Thursday! I hope the time difference thing doesn't kill me. I need to know what time I can buy my ticket :)

Yay! I'm super thrilled. Probably will not sleep a wink tonight.

I'm gonna need a roomie. BUT, I actually will need a good 8 hours each night. BUT, I can sleep through just about anything. I really only want one roomie, though.

Anybody interested?? You can pm me if you want.

lol! oh my goodness! GET OUT. I also don't think he will like the fact that we are using all this very VERY pretty paper.....

Also I thought there was a Plantation in Belle Meade? Or is that Mr. Gore's house? *hides* Sorry couldn't resist!

OH! and someone commented on how popular they would be with their neices if they met Miley - I would be too!

I know the Judd's live there - but does Ashley Judd live there too?

Gosh this is becoming like the Franklin Walk of Stars! lol. Not that I am stalking them but would love to meet some of them. Can you IMAGINE the Layouts!? lol

lastly - I hear that there is a ghost tour in Franklin - anyone recommend it?

THanks ALL! Nan

*doing a little dance* My hubby said he didn't mind it if I

YAY!!! I am so excited!!

You might want to rethink flying into memphis though, with the cost of gas it might not really be cheaper- it's like almost a 3 hour drive. Unless you realy want to go to Graceland or something which actually (I can NOT believe I am about to admit this) is really cool. I totally made out on Elvis's Private plane once.
