And how the heck are Sonjaya and I supposed to practice? I'm really going to have to hit the gym hard if spandex is in order.

Kate, we'll just mentally rehearse, I feel like our routine is so tight already...and no matter what you look like, you're going to look like Heidi Klum next to me, the Fantasia ballerina hippo.

And here's an idea for those of you with money woes...EBAY.

I Ebay'ed a ton of stuff already, just so I could pay the bills....

Unfortunately, it's really not in the cards for me this year.

.you know there are things like dry counties in that area of the country
lol! there sure are! it's hard to comprehend that there are places that have never heard of dry counties AND places that let the liquor store stay open on sunday!!!

but i think all of nashville is wet so you don't have to worry!

I am not from there but I have been there a couple of times and was in all these areas so I think I can answer this.

Carnton Plantation - don't know
Cool Springs Galleria Mall -- is it a good mall -- I believe it is a pretty big mall but has stores more like, say the Deer Park Mall here in IL
Historic Downtown Franklin CUTE CUTE CUTE!!! That is a hop skip from hotel
Vanderbilt University -- must get a sweatshirt!!! It is about 30 to 35 minutes north I believe. Depending on traffic.
Downtown Nashville - About the same distance as Vanderbuilt.

Franklin is completely adorable. There is also a mall there called "The Factory" Cute place lots of artsy stuff.

Ok I checked out the hotel - there is a bar in the hotel called the Stirrup Cup Lounge.

We are safe!!!! Woosh you had me panicked. I have heard of not being able to buy alcohol on Sundays - Deleware but not of dry counties. So I'm slow but not surprised.

Will the SIS warehouse be open?
open and discounted...

Carnton Plantation
Cool Springs Galleria Mall -- is it a good mall?
Historic Downtown Franklin
Vanderbilt University -- must get a sweatshirt!!!
Downtown Nashville

Not totally sure about all of these, but the galleria is a good mall, downtown franklin is close and where we will be on Sunday, and the rest is all less than half an hour from the hotel :)

SO... just to be sure - we can reserve our rooms on Monday? And we can buy our event ticket this Thursday? *bounces*
Rooms- I am waiting to hear back from my event manager - but definitely by thursday- HONESTLY there is limited space so I would make sure you get a spot at the event before you book a room! lol! But yes, Thursday, is registration

Alright.... I am thinking of asking my mom to get me a ticket to this thing, for an early birthday present.
My birthday is in May, so it'll actually just be a late birthday present. Right?

Now for the room thing... I need some roomies, who want to split the cost of the room.

I am so going though... I just have to.

Oh... and I gotta get off work.
Blah... stupid work.

Okay so now I am off work so I can post... :-)

T1 - you know your stuff!

Carnton Plantation - About 5 - 10 miles from the Marriott (just down the way from my house)
Cool Springs Galleria Mall - Great mall...right across the interstate from the Marriott
Historic Downtown Franklin - The reason I LOVE living here...so, so cute...think Mayberry but with upscale shops and great antiquing...my fave is the Cocoa Tree (think chocolate) and of course Five Points Starbucks!
Vanderbilt University - About 35 minutes. I should know I used to work there and did the commute everyday although the morning and evening commute are much longer...this is also very near Music Row.
Downtown Nashville - Same distance as Vandy just on the other side of the interstate. My fave is the Wildhorse Saloon (if you want the country music experience). It's HUGE inside.

As T1 said The Factory in Franklin also has cute shops.

I think you all will love it!

Not sure if public transportation goes to all these places as I haven't had to use it but Franklin does have a very cute Trolley for their public transportation and I think it goes many places.

Oh and for those who were asking Nashville is the best airport to fly to (about 30 minutes from Franklin)

Abbie

Oh and I forgot to mention that Memphis is about 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 hours away depending on whether or not you are a slow poke driver or a speed demon... I would say around 3 hours depending on what part of Memphis.

Hope that answers all the questions!

Okay I LOVE CRACKER BARRELL. Their Coke-Cola Chocolate cake is to DIE for. Well not literally but you know what I mean!! Also I have always been SO tempted to get a rocker from there. :)

Okay well color me embarrassed. Miley Cyrus lives in Franklin! Is it sad that I love her and her Dad?! *embarrassed*
