So have we found out what these 8 standards are yet? Where did you find the first 3...I would love to look at them. Any detectives in the house, Nancy Drew perhaps? :)

OK.....I searched the forums and managed to find #1, #2, and #3. Are the others posted somewhere that I'm missing them?

I love that this has been chatted around many times, basically with the same result.

I love that we each have our own styles, basically determined by which rules we instinctively follow & which we ignore.

I love that every artist has that choice, and that when we add imagination to our work, it becomes ART...

Huh. I don't get it.

What they mean is divide the paper mentally into a tic tac toe grid. If your photo is of a person, the subject's eyes should fall into the place where one of the intersections (think a + sign) would be. I just try to place my photos in these spots. I don't worry about where everyone's eyes are. :) HTH.

Hmmm... standards? I haven't got the remotest idea. I did hear someting about three points that should make a visual triangle but I never use it.
I just scrap what I feel like...
But I am curious, so I'll keep tracking this thread ;)
