I have several 7 gypsies 6x6 ring book kits that I dont know what to do with. I love them, but I find it hard to pick a certain theme for an album. I started a christmas journal before christmas and only completed the 3 first pages...... Anyone have ideas or theme suggestions for me?

or a thought
or a day in your life
and mixing photos of those things
with your journaling??

Or maybe look at this [url=http://www.bigpicturescrapbooking.com/] from Stacy Julian. There is also a webisode where Jeanette is interviewing Stacy. You can download a free class about mini books.
Or pick a theme. I made minibooks wiht pictures where my girls are playing or acting silly. It has photo's at different ages. Or make an ABC or use the letters of your name to make start a title with.

What about a book about yourself now and how you would like to be....it can be funny or deep or a combination....its amazing how quick you can fill a book up!!

i love doing song lyrics...a different lyric on each page, friends favorite lyrics, or music that's impacted your life over the years...

what about doing the "12 days of Christmas" (of you're trying to keep an Xmas album)... or use this phrase
"Each Day is a Gift... today because...." and either find a photo that is pertinent or just journal why that day is /was special

you could do a "right now" book like kristina contes rocked awhile ago...
talk about the things you are loving right now. simple stuff, take photos of it and then journal why.

I am just doing some up that are graduation gifts for my DD to give to her friends. I actually just put memories on the front of them. They turned out so stinking cute.
I do mostly mini albums. I tend to do them when we take trips that have tons of pictures of different things and I don't want them all in my family album. I sold a bunch last year at the craft show that were titled, sisters, Me & my dad, best friends, cousins, family. I am going to be working on a bunch more in the coming months to get ready for the craft show.

Christmas traditions (pix of trees, cookies, presents, kids by the tree, etc.)
Kids artwork.
There's also a meme running around on the blogs right now calledSeven Random Things. I think it would be an awesome mini book about you! : )

One of my favourites I ever made was for my grandmother's 90th birthday. I listed 90 of my favourite memories of her. Then I added pictures to go with.
I also want to do a month in the life of. How many phone calls, loads of laundry, emails, scrapbook pages, etc. Could be a fun peek into your life.
Have fun, mini albums are my favourite.

i just did a cute little mini album using photos that i took of my kids at a park. instead of doing a scrap page - i did the mini. if you have lots of pictures of a special day - that's another option

i did a "day in the life" album...it was so much fun! i took all the pics, did all the scrapping, and all the journaling in one day. it includes what i watched on tv, who i talked to, what i was wearing, etc.
another one i did in a mini album was what's in my bag! don't clean it out, just look in your purse (or your kids bookbags) and capture it all!

Everything I'm grateful for- from my friendships, family and 5 senses to my pug's noises, 7-11 Slurpees, flip flops and the f-word.

I love doing mini books. There are so many subjects. I just did one on the things that make our house feel like a home. I'm working on one about "us". It's things I want our family to know about eachother. Just take a little subject and go with it!

Mini's are my FAVE - they're QUICK and fun - and cute! I also love to give them as gifts.
I'm almost finished taking a photo a day for a month (today's obviously my last day!) and then I'm going to do a mini on that - inspired by the amazing Marci Lambert.
I also love doing one for every vacation or special trip we make. What a great way to remember all you did and/or all it meant to you.
There are ENDLESS possibilities with a mini!
