Any suggestions about how to get over this scrap-anxiety?
Sonja: I understand this anxiety extemely well as I have been scrapping for years, but still don't do anything great!! I work with a magazine that has the most amazing designers and I am the sales person. Well, thank goodness I am only sales because these gals have the most amazing art and I am happy to stick a picture to a piece of paper and hope it looks right!!!! My suggestion, remember....NO ONE IS GOING TO JUDGE!! your art is just that, your art. some like simple, some like busy, some like texture, and some just like it all, so who cares!! Have fun and do what you want. At least thats what I have to remind myself! :)

I have trouble with this too! My family HATE being photographed (*tears*), I have no kids, and Im running out of ideas of what else to scrap?!? Im sick of doing layouts of ME!!
Recently, I did a lo on Angelina Jolie. I just loved the photo and decided to scrap it. It was actually fun using pieces of the magazine to scrap.

Did you see the Challenge Websodes??? There are some great ideas for you to keep yourself outside of yourself LOL. In one of them, they passed layouts around a table of scrappers and each one had to add to the layout. That works if you have a group. Then there was another one where you set rules for your layout. Most importantly, don't be afraid to take some risks. Remember, you are your worst critic. And it's all about having fun!

I've been scrapping for a long time but only been on this site for a short time and everyone has been so helpful to me! I read somewhere there are no dumb question just the ones that aren't asked! I like that.
