When you make a journal do you use chipboard for the covers then put the card stock or whatever kind of paper on that?

I do use chipboard for the cover and then embellish it with patterned paper, etc. If it will be handled a lot, I will add a layer of mod podge. I use regular cardstock for the interior pages.
