OK, Top 25 are you ready??? This is how it's gonna go down...
I'm going to give you your supply list and I want you all to create any sized project or layout that you want with it. The thing is, the only supplies you can use is what I put on the list. You can use tools (including stamps and ink), but nothing else except for what is on the list.
The deadline to email me your work is Saturday, October 4th by 11:59pm Eastern time (that's the time that's on the message boards so you can use the website "clock" to go by.
There are no bonus products, no points for turning in your work early. You are being judged solely on your design ability...yeah, we're getting hard core here...this is Project Catwalk, not Project Sidewalk...did anyone get that...it was kind of obscure...anyway, the three judges will score your projects. We will list the top ten point earners at the end of the week, but all 25 will move on to Week Two of the competition. Your free kits will be sent out to you this week for you to use next week. The points from this week will be combined with the points from the next week and then the top 10 will move on for Week Three. After Week Three the top five will be announced and the last week of competition will be for the Top 5 and the winner of Project Catwalk will be chosen from those five....ooh I think I just got goose bumps...
OK so here's your list...
Cardstock 12" of ribbon or trim 4" square of fabric Any tape Letter stickers Paint Embroidery floss or thread 5 Buttons 3 Brads Staples A 5x7 photo (you do not have to be the photographer) a magazine any one vintage item any adhesive
You do not have to use ALL of these items...in fact please don't! LOL
Like I said you can use tools, I'm not trying to trick you here...you can use stamps, ink, a typewriter...but for consumable products the ones listed are the only thing you can use.
We're looking for creative here...new and interesting styles but with strong design elements...
If you have any questions, you can post them here and I will try to answer them as quickly as possible.
Have fun and I cannot wait to see what you guys put together!!
JJ

Oh wow this sounds awesome JJ! So I have a question already...
Is there a topic that we are to work around? Or can the layout be about anything we want?
Thanks!

So, is it quantity one of each thing listed (ie one piece of cardstock, one piece of 12" ribbon, etc)? And can it be patterned paper but in cardstock weight, or is it solid color cardstock?

Excellent, excellent questions...I had to think on them for a moment...but now I am ready to respond...
cardstock - must be solid but you aren't restricted to one piece. ribbon - yes, one piece of 12" ribbon is all if a measurement or quantity isn't listed then it's unlimited.
