Oh my gosh! What a fantastic idea! I have 3 nieces who I could totally do this with. How fun! Thanks JJ for being brave and being one to demonstrate it. I mean with 5 kids....wow! You get props in my book!

Ab so fab, I have two budding scrappers in the making and for them to make their own journal would be great. They help (kind of) when ever I make mini books for them.

I think you are one brave mommy...going online with your kids and staying so cool and relaxed when things just dont go the way you wants them to :) as a mommy, I think you were great, even though i am sure there were 15 cuts in between ;) Nili - a mom who won't dare :)

Loved them!
And your kids are so REAL! =) Love that they were "grabby" and fighting and taking the roller from each other.
Just proves that you can scrap and be a mom at the same time.
Thanks, JJ! I have to add that YOU LOOK FABULOUS in this webisode!! {Who did your hair and make-up? It's smashing!!} =)

I loved these episodes! As a mom of 6, I totally relate. Your kids were real troopers! I also loved the Bind-It-All demo - I just got one but haven't used it yet. Now I'm totally inspired !!

I bow to you oh great and awesome JJ! You are my HERO!!! My "kids" are in their 20's, so they're up and out, but I just LOVE that you did this. I love how you just let your kids do their own thing, including, if that was their choice, to be grumpy. You didn't edit it out, you just let them be themselves. How wonderful and REAL! Your example of patience and sweetness...well, you rock! And your kids are all darling, even mr. grumpy, who will watch this one day when he's older and die laughing! (I speak from home video experience). :)
Oh, your comment, "well, aren't you just a breath of fresh air" - OMGosh - just cracked me up.
Oh, and I loved the bind-it-all demo. I'm thinking about getting one, but in light of my recent collection-plus purchase, I think I'll try to use UP all the 50 gazillion mini books, etc. I already have. I'm SO looking forward to getting this collection - looks like the best ever.
I look forward to these webisodes SO much!

i thought this was a great idea. i think i am going to do it for my 4 yo son. he sits in church with us now and colors on all the little papers that are in the back of the pew (?). i thought it would be great to get some of the larger blank indx cards to use as the pages. get a little box of crayons or colored pencils. stick it all in a ziploc and throw it int he car that way it is there and ready for sunday mornings.
your kids are a trip. thanks for the great idea. :)

I am just bustin' up here! That was the greatest show EVAH!! I love how REAL you are on this and how completely unfun it was for you!! So true! It's great to set the kids lose but sometimes it's just not fun for us. Totally worth it in the end though. I REALLY, REALLY enjoyed watching this. Great idea aswell. THANKS!

My favourite thing about this webisode is that you have kept it real. I just love how your little boy says this is boring and then refuses to take part... why is it that that just makes him even more adorable... my son is only just 2 yrs old so is too young to bribe into crafting with me... can't wait! :)
Thanks for another great show..

Amberley - I have just seen that you are scrapping with your 2 year old.. wow that must take some serious patience.. I really don't think Logan is ready for it but hay maybe I'm not giving him enough credit... what do you guys think? I mean he's only just worked out what a crayon is for :)

I've only been able to watch for about 2 minutes at a time because I'm laughing so hard!! In a good way, that is. I love when the oldest boy elbows the one who said "this is BORING!"

First of all I have to say I love the project and will CASE the idea to use for my daughters class ...
second I have to say YOU ROCK Big Sis!!!! I was laughing so hard at the kids and their attitudes and comments, so kid like! I love the fact you didn't stop filming and try to make it perfect, you just rolled with the punches (literally) and let Walker do his own thing, which wasn't making the journal. Not only did you show a great kids project but you showed how to cope with the uncooporative ones :)
I have a corner in my scrap room for my daughter and she and I scrap together most times, she is 8 so it only lasts about 30 minutes for her *LOL*
Your kids are true sports for doing this for you and you are the best as a Big Sis and a Mom!!!! Thank you fro showing the world that craft shows do NOT have to be boring!!!
