It was really great. I love the elements people take from the piece and make something something so original and beautiful out of it. It looked like a really good time too.

ok whew i've got my fix and how cool was the inspiration idea!!! i'm attending a local crop in September and may suggest this idea as a challenge. hey it would be neat to do something like that here as a challenge big sis. present us an object and see how we interpret it! cool!

Yay! I loved the 2nd half because:
1. That huge "TIME'S UP" noise and the reaction was CLASSIC.
2. Big Sis JJ is kind of a smarty pants in this one, which makes me laugh.
3. We got to see all the finished layouts, which were verah verah cool!

LOL---it was so much fun re-living that "DING DING DING TIMES UP" alarm hahah. o my goodness.
Ok that was like SO crazy for me because I honestly don't think I have ever finished a layout in 30 minutes so when we were told that was the time we had I FAAREEEAKED hehe. So I was like in a "zone" the whole time while my mind kept telling me--dude there's only 10 minutes left LOL. so funny.

it was really cool to see the finished los - everyone's was so different even though the inspiration piece was the same! kind of like playing 'telephone' when we were kids.
i think the idea of an inspiration piece was genius!

LOVE, loved it! Got to see everything really well this time. GREAT job mr. camera guy! ((applause)) You guys are all so swell.
And, I can't fail to mention the BELL! I just kept replaying that to see everyone's expression/reaction. Ohhhh, gosh, I couldn't quit laughing. JJ, yours was by far the BEST! :)
Oh, was it Adrienne that said somewhere in a previous thread that she likes to scrap in complete silence? (I often do that too, so I could relate...) If, so then, I can see why she was so focused! :)

Okay, here's the scoop on the timer. I was there. JJ's hubby Bob was behind the whole thing. Although everyone was having such a good time filming, it did get a little tense at times because everyone else in the house at that time had to be super super quiet. So, Bob, decided that it would be funny to break the quiet tension a bit. He began to go around the house finding loud things. We found a cowbell and I had a whole drawerful of whistles that I used in a play once. Bob had alerted the sound guy in advance so that no equipment would be ruined or anything, so the camera guy, the sound guy, Bob and I were in on it. And if you thought it was funny on film, you should've seen it in person. Hilarious and it certainly did what it was intended to do, which was to get everyone to relax a bit from the eerie quiet. Good job, Bob.
