Very cool idea for the canvas! I had used sheets before but not the papers! Very cool.....alot of art work is actually done using posters over canvas....then brushing with paints and clear acrylics.....to make it look like a real painting!

i was uncertain of was how she adhered the paper.
i believe jj used the tombow "mono" adhesive...it is like a tape runner. & then used a brayer over it.

Yeah I totally thought I should use Mod Podge, but even using my brayer inside the "Barbie pool" didn't really help. ;)

That is SO COOL!!! Thanks for sharing. I would have tried Mod Podge, if I hadn't seen this webisode. This website ROCKS!!!!!!! Do the canvases have to be that thick? I think I will try on a smaller canvas maybe before purchasing a $16 one, so I can make sure I know what the heck I'm doing. I'm addicted to this website!!!!!
Love the Sisters!!!!

I have a quick question, if anyone would have an answer or suggestion. What if you wanted to adhere a picture to the paper, or even just a picture on the canvas? How would you adhere it? 1) To the paper, or 2) to the canvas? And, then, would you seal the picture and/or any embellishments (rub-ons, crystals, etc.)? I'm thinking of making one of these and using a wedding picture. Any ideas/suggestions would be VERY helpful. You can either post here, maybe someone else wants to know, or you can send me a pm. THANKS SISTERS!!

here is a direct link to the original project posted in the gallery... by badanka :)
& stamp99sc....i'm not sure @ that...i adhered buttons & sequins & some stuff to mine & didn't seal it...so i don't think you would have to do that for a picture, but i've not tried that yet.
there are a few sisters who have posted some amazing canvases lately...maybe find one you like in the gallery & pm ask their opinion too.
good luck!

jj...where did you get that amazing tape dispenser? I love it and since you are turning me into a budding tape addict, I need to make sure I have the proper tools!
I'm ordering the damask tape right now! :-)
Lubbed the Barbie pool comment too...I actually *HAVE* my Barbie pool from the '70's...may have to break that puppy out and take a pic for you!
