ok so I just watched the entire new webisode with ms. julian
i mean I sat down to watch on wednesday/thursday but kept getting
sidetracked by kids and such.
anway I just sat down watched the whole thing and I had to like
stop myself from being like yelling out loud...
"YES, oh my gosh, YES, TOTALLY, oh my thankgoodness someone said that, YES"
LOL so i guess what I am saying if you have not watched it - WATCH it :)

we are ALL scrapbookers
and even if you simply slap a picture onto a
piece of paper and write three lines to capture the
memories. I LOVE it and want everyone to be
freeeed by that. ya know. not EVERY single page
has to be a masterpiece. you can do a
totally elaborate page for every 4 super simple
pages and it's OK!!! love it

Oh yes!
I am always trying to remind myself that my kids will be so happy just to look at photographs with the memories written beside them that they won't care whether it looked artistic in 2007 or not!

Yup! Love the idea that anything is a scrapbook. I like making elaborate pages, but sometimes it just doesn't happen!

I watched this the other day, then came back to watch again today...with a notepad to write down my favorite thoughts. I love the act of lifting the pressure off myself by remembering that digital photography does create some 'issues' for me...and I need to let the expectations go that I will scrap all those photos! Ahhh...what a relief!
Such a great webisode! :)

yes. it is about the process, doesn't have to be so elaborate, enjoy it, lets grow bigger, not what it was 5 years ago!

I just watched it. I agree it is all about the process. It is about connecting the picture and creating something that shows what we felt about that experience or moment in time.
We don't have to do this in chronological order! Hooray ... I don't have to catch up and scrap everything.

WOW! I finally got around to watching this latest webisode with Stacy Julian (after being away) and, man, she squeezed a WHOLE lot of wisdom into those few minutes... I love her definition of scrapbooking - we're ALL doing it - and the whole "exclusive scrapping" message we need to NOT send... Excellent thoughts! She's just a breath of fresh air, isn't she?
