Maritscrapworld: I might get lucky after my hubby rubbed the oiled places..... Keep your fingers crossed please! I need some creative time!!!
I wasn't lucky. I couldn't use the table yesterday so no scrapping...
And my man cleaned the office space (where the computers are) so I couldn't go online either. And it rained so I couldn't sit outside. I spend my Sunday on the couch re-reading a book and feeling very sorry for myself...
but now it is Monday! Let's see what today brings!

I am off to teach summer school. Day 5 of 18. Then we have more dance rehearsals and my son starts a dance class...We will see how that goes.

I was very busy yesterday sewing and painting. Today I plan to work on my wallquilt some more, watch a DVD with a watercolor lesson, and paint. Have a great day!

Not really... my hub oiled the floor way too much and it is still sticky... we're rubbin' it with a sanding machine now (with cloth on it of course) but I don't see any scrapping time left...

currant7: @zeeksmom: glad to hear that you had a great family reunion. i'm quite interested in hearing how your dad got a hold of your ex-bf on FB. that should surely be one for the books. did he had your dad or vice versa? :D
It's weird. You know how when you're on there, there are people that pop up on the side and it says something like, "here's someone you might know" or something. It was that kind of deal. Thing is, we live in Indiana, ex BF lives in North Carolina, so I can't for the life of me figure out how his profile popped up while my dad was online.
We split peacefully, so it's not like I'm all OMG, NOOOOOOOOO. It's only been four months as well. We were fine while we were long distance (for two years), but it didn't go so well when he moved up here with me.

I just went and cleaned up some stuff and came upstairs to put on my bathing suit and go outside to lay out and the sun went behind the clouds.  such a bummer....i wanted to work on my summer tan while studying.

Back home again. Spent the day doing a couple loads of laundry, ran four miles at the gym (I have a LONG way to go to get back to where I used to be in more ways than one!), bought groceries and of course more scrapbooking stuff!
Now, even after grocery shopping, I'm sitting here wondering what to have for dinner. It's awful since I really worked hard at the gym, but I'm dying for McDonald's or Wendy's. It just sucks. Why can't I crave a big veggie salad, or something just as healthy?

I'm the same way! I wish I could crave, like, carrots, but no, it's always ice cream, or pizza....grrrr.

Survived the Dance Mom Taxi today. Only a few more weeks! Then I can enjoy summer.
Okay moms, check this out!
My son has a thing for flashlights and his father has a MagLite which DS is not allowed to touch. I just Ds walk past me with his hands behind his back only he didn't realize the flashlight was shining on the ceiling. When I told him, Give me the flashlight, he said, "I don't have the flashlight."
If he doesn't have a flashlight, then I need to be worried that light is coming from his hiney??!

Hi there everyone. Well we had a wonderful weekend at our scrapbooking retreat last weekend. The weather was a bit chilly outside but inside we were as warm as toast. Everyone had lots of fun, only one lady spoiled it with her thievery, but then everyone watched her like a hawk. It's a pity that people have to be that way when everything was done on trust. (And you may ask how I know this? It's because I saw her do it and so did others)
However, lots of projects were completed, lots of food and snacks was eaten and lots of coffee drunk.
We had a group photo taken near the whale centre at Victor Harbor and had plenty of opportunity for shopping if we felt like it.
So that was my weekend. How was yours?

ANYHOO...had our first night of VBS yesterday...I am dinner coordinator...our pastors suggested a new member to help, he is a chef, he ROCKED it, only he went way overboard on our shopping list, and I now have 32 extra pounds of hamburger that (obviously) cannot be returned to GFS...
Should I bring it to SIS Live?

Back to the salt mine for me today. Waaaa. I should be happy I have a job to go to and that it's not digging ditches.
I whipped out three pages for my "Scrap the Fat" album. It's a weight loss group on another site. I hate my before picture, but it just means that there will be a big difference at the end of it with the after picture.

Good Morning SISters! I am up...excited...found out I made the Catwalk...first time ever!! I think I am going to celebrate with a mani/pedi (actually, I was planning on this anyway but now I have an even better excuse to spend the money) and I need to walk so I will probably be heading to my parent's house to walk on the treadmill. It is a dreary day here in Kentucky...
