i'm listening to Spice Girls right now...retro back-to-the-80s on the radio. :D
can't wait for True Blood to start their Season 2. the trailer previous are awesome! i got hooked after the pilot episode recently and did a first season marathon. excited!!!
i work in audits for a bank. managing work on my own pace since it will never to end. work seems to pop in every single place!

What a day. Up at 0530 to leave for work at 0600 to start at 0800, over 1 1/2 drive to work and back. And I am finally home.
What do I do. I am a Security Officer. Love my job. There is so much to do and not enough time to do it in.

There is not enough work for the both of us at the moment (crisis...) and so I spend my days mostly as a "housewife and full time scrapper" (but I would swap some free time for working - payed - time any moment! We're just managing... and in need of some more money)

Actually, I generally always celebrate my birhtday for a week or so, it usually takes that long to catch up wtih various friends for birthday drinks/chinwag/teaparty.
I am having a heap of girlfriends over on Friday for a card making night - that should be super FUN!!

It's raining here this morning, so no morning stroll for Zeek. He gets prissy when it rains, and he won't wear the raincoat I bought him. He doens't enjoy it, but he will tolerate his winter coat if it's cold enough. He doesn't have a lot of hair.
I will soon be getting my third set of ATC's from my first shot at hosting a swap. Things seem to be going smooth at this point, so we shall see.

My son is almost coming (spends half the week with his dad, and the other half with me and my beloved) and my diner is cooking - can't spend much time at the computer or my potatoes will turn black.... have a happy day-wherever you are!

I'm heading to the library tomorroW!
and Michelle, I got laid off in Dec after 6 years as a Director of Education at a learning center.....before that taught in the classroom....not sure what I want to be when I grow up!
thankfully, I'd bought my SIScon tix BEFORE!

It was fabulous!!! I'd easily see it again and again! If you grew up with the original (like me) then it really made you feel like you were seeing the original characters...but younger. They did a great job with casting, dialogue & mannerisms!!!

Dropped off the car and borrowing a friend's Tahoe. I love driving big stuff, but it's not mine so I get nervous! Picked up the lawnmower from the shop and a week and a half from now will begin my new quest not to tear it up again!

I'm working on not doing much at work before I leave, but that's probably not the crafty you were referring to :D
I only have two patients left, and then I can cruise the internet for a while, and I may even leave early to go to the gym since I didn't get to go this morning.
The lawn mower is back home, and I will get the car back tomorrow around 3 or so, then it's off to the parents' house for the weekend!
