Oh Stacey - I'm sorry I didn't see your question til just now! I wasn't listening to anything last night. I should have been. Maybe I wouldn't have fallen asleep then! I don't know the Veronicas, but I love hearing about new music - I'm off to google them now...

I'm working on the NEVER ending task of straightening my hair.
I hate grooming.
I just need someone to do it for me.

Akkkk---can't get my Slice to work right...won't cut. I've tried everything in the "troubleshooting" section of the book.

I'll try it again tomorrow and then I'm gonna see if anyone at Archivers can help me.

Now, maybe I should put the vacuum in the shop so someone else can do that and the rest of the housework, too!

I just spent an hour cutting out the fabric for a dress pattern that I was all excited to make. I carefully cut out the size 8 pattern and was doing a really great, careful job, when I decided to try on the top part for fit.....well, I could barely get it over my neck? What the heck? Oh....it was a girl's pattern, not a womans. Hmm....maybe sewing isn't my thing. LOL

YAY I love it when it is a public holiday - we have the queens birthday holiday here in Australia today. And it is cold and rainy - just right to spend the afternoon scrapping I think after I get some jobs done!

At least you figured out that it was a girl's pattern! I would have been in a panic that holy crap, when did I get that fat, overnight?!!?

lorwilb:

Yeah, and I didn't realize there were so many actors that were in musicals (like the dude from The Sopranos- are you KIDDING ME?), too. It's been educational.

I just had a healthy dinner of steamed-in-a-bag carrots and broccoli, Triscuts and hummus and for dessert, red raspberries. No, I'm not vegatarian, it's called "eating like a refugee." I need to go to the store, but then I'm leaving town on Thursday morning, so I'm not buying a whole lot of groceries just for moi. You'd think that if I ate like that I'd lose some weight, but not hardly! I've gone to the gym for the last 5 weeks at least 4 times a week, and I've only lost just a few pounds. It used to come off so much easier. Maybe they're scared that I'll miss them all, but I really, really won't, honest!

I would love to be scrapping this afternoon as well, Lalalee, however here I am working hard. The sun is trying to shine and at the moment it is not raining. Thank heavens for that. It's about time I went on a patrol before the rain starts again.

Where about are you situated?
I live in Murray Bridge, SA.

Enjoy your day.

I have decided to start my own blog, and hope to get it up this weekend.

Make sure you add a link here each time you post - there's always a thread for that... can't wait to see what you come up with! (and now I'm going to check it out...)

i wish i was going to church this morning...

I got in a couple services today... all morning at ours (service and sunday school), and then a friend got ordained this afternoon. It was pretty cool - she's a single young female - not your typical pastor. Do your denominations ordain women? Ours is one of few, I know (Canadian Baptists of Western Canada).

What kind? I have a reisling in the fridge that I keep forgetting about. Is it still raining?

Uuuuuhhhmmm, it's Mondaymorning overhere and I missed some posts (LOL).... I had dry white wine yesterday evening, not too much tho, I'm a neat girl

I planned on householding this morning, but my shoulder/right arm is hurting, overdone my muscles (do you say it like this?) when I journaled my Art Journal Saturday night I think. So no householding for me today! (YEAH - but it means I have to do it later this weeks, I HATE cleaning, on ANY day!!!) Well, of to write a post and show that Art JOurnal page then... a girl's gotta do SOMETHING on a Monday morning, right? Have a good day you all, see you around!

(Oh, first I'm gonna check your new blog, Zeeksmom!)
