so girls.
do you have any ideas about how i can work out who has recieved, who hasn't, etc etc.
i don't want people going without packages. but i don't want to bug people either.

That sounds like a heck of a task for you. I don't envy that at all.
sorry for being impatient. I'm mostly joking because I just wann know who... I received wonderful presents and just want to thank them.
If you'd like help figuring out who has and has not I can go back and read and kinda create a spreadsheet to help if you'd like...

i have been intending to come in here and do that, but i have a million and one other things i'm doing ready for my transatlantic flight!
what i've decided girls is you have untill i get back from nashville to send out, contact me, make it known you have recieved.
after that time, i will be making a master list of flakers. that means i will spread this around sis, i will get it stickied at the top of the swaps thread, and i will advise swap organisers that you are unreliable swap partners, and should therefore be blacklisted from any upcoming swaps untill your standing swap requirments are met.
i am an understanding person. i have been contacted by a few people in this swap that have mitigating circumstances - and i am okay with that. we all have lives.
but there needs to be some structure on this swap board, and this is one way i am going to suggest we go about it.

completely lame, Linda.
part of this task is to actually send your sender a thankyou card. there is no excuse for not acknowledging your goods.
i'm gonna see if we can start getting hardcore about this stuff, 1) because it pisses me off! and 2) because its not beneficial to our boards if we have a bunch of people flaking, and people not getting what they have given out.

I just got my box and HOLY MOLY was it jam packed to the rims with awesome-ness!!! I mean it was SPILLLLLLLLing out of the box!!!!!! I got lots of my favorite double sided tape, some thickers, the NEW WAY SUPER AWESOME CUTE Sassafrass paper!!! (yes, the one with the deer on it - is it bad that I want to frame it instead of use it?)!!!!!!!! and tons and tons of other awesome goodies!!!! Even a homemade doll named Pneolope!!!! made just for me!!!! What an awesome treat getting this box was!!! thank you so much secret sis!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! cant wait to find out who you are!!!!!!!!!!

I know for a fact-titty fact that Elly Mew has a package en route..
and by en route I mean that it is packaged up and will be travelling ..
it is taking a super secrety route..
and I did include a thank you in with her birthday package..
cause she was the most rockinest seckrit buddy a ninja could need.

and as my fabby SIS has contacted me I totally cool, so maybe we might need to split the not received list into a "no contact" and a "we know its on its way" list - to separate between potential superflakers, and SISters who had delays.
And Rhi, your hardcore swap stance has 10000% support from me. (not that you need it or anything, but just sayin..!)
Flakers freaking suck (quite frankly) and unless there is a good reason your name should be on a "superflaker" list. Seriously. It is not hard to put things right if you found you've overcommitted. Just send an email to your coordinator - it can be sorted! Either fess up and admit something has caused you to miss deadlines (people understand - life is life afterall), or put up with being on the dodgy list. Leaving people hanging when you promised something is just not cool.

i know at least three of the names on the not recieved list are explainable.

hey - I'm in the middle of a crazy move to my new house so I'm sorry I haven't checked in very much!!!
I will be sending my reveal to my secret SIS and of course my thank you card to the awesome ColoredSprinkles - got her reveal package this week!!! I will be back to post photos of it soon ((I'm supposed to have internet Wed??? I hope so!))
So for now, thank you, thank you, thank you coloredsprinkles - your reveal package was AMAZING. and I remember seeing that little book in your gallery and commenting on it and I had no idea it was for me! you're a doll!
and my secret sis will be getting a reveal goodie or two from me this week!!! ;)
