I was hoping there might be some interested in doing this swap. Is there someone who would be willing to run the thread and do the updates?? Also since there are so many swaps going on, what would be a good deadline? I was thinking before Easter and then we could display them for Easter and the kids could join in on one of their own.
Also what size? I love the playing cards/HS cards but could do a 6x6 or any size?? Actually we could do both sides if you want to if you want to display

(I have several so I have others to pick from if someone wanted this and or we could do one verse more than once too)

I love this....I'm in, but PLEASE make the deadline later, like maybe mid-March. My favorite verse--my life verse--is "I will praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful, I know that full well." To me, this is the solution for all of life's problems: Placing your full identity in Christ.
I would like to stick with the playing card size, but I will work with whatever you decide.

Playing cards wil be good, Ijust want them all one size...
I love that verse too -
I was actually thinking late march, ..sometime before Easter, do you know when that is? Easter Sunday is March 23rd so we can shoot for that or just push back to April. I am okay with any date really so what ever is best for those who want to join in.

this is a great way to practice memorizing verses once we have all the cards in our hands!

I have another 3 favs that I would love to do....I may end up buying one of the ATC holders here at SIS to put on my desk...for some daily inspo-ration.
I will post my others later....I knew you would be in Kim and glad you are joining us granny -

I would like my verse to be Colossians 3:13!!!
I am so excited about this one!! I had a hard time narrowing this down to one verse! Maybe I'll do a Roladex Swap after this one is done!!! That will be fun also!!! :)

I want to leave this open until after the holidays to give everyone a chance to get in.
Would you want to set a limit? I am open to the number of players too if everyone else?

Just one question to get it clear - Are we going to make just one card with our verse or as many as participants?

You will make as many cards as there are participants that is why I was asking if you wanted a limit....
I was thinking 20-25 for a maximum....but we will see how many are interested come Jan/Feb.
Thanks and don't forget to include your verse for those who were going to get back. I will try to get an updated list sometime later today/this week.

Hey all, I have a question....I really want to do this with you all, but I don't have a bible verse, I would like to use the "footprints in the sand" poem. Is that something that would work for all of you? if not, I totally understand, that is why I wanted to check before I shout that I am in! thanks! :)

Diana, I'm still trying to decide on a verse. So many good ones, it's hard to narrow down.

as soon as I get the verses hopefully this week I will post all the verses with who is going to do each verse -

Mine will be Psalm 27:1 - The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life, of whom shall I be afraid?
I have not done an ATC swap before. Is the idea that I will make virtually the same card for everyone in the group, then we swap and everyone has one of everyone else's? LOVE it!

Jan, yes for the most part...this last one I did, I changed up the cards some...playing with colors until I had them all done but you can do them anyway you like. You will just do the amount of cards of those who want to play with us.
BTW, I was so excited that you were surprising your son, how did your trip go??
PS- I am so excited that you are joining us...I just had your layouts that we did for our swap this fall and absolutely just love your work and the journaling of cousre which was so heartfelt.
