I think the sparkle has always been around.I mean, how long have diamonds been a girl's best friend really? But this recent trend of really laying on the bling, I have to admit, I thought it would be short lived, but it looks like the bling may be here to stay.
So whip out your rhinestones, gems, jewels...Sprinkle on that glitter and glimmer mist...Pull out your sparkle paper and let's get crafty!
This week we are looking for projects that sparkle and shine like diamonds or vegas? (whichever you prefer...lol ) Don't be stingy with those blingies either, we are trying to use up our stash, so lay it on thick, so we will all need sunglasses to view the blog this week!
make sure you link your layouts from here to the blog at Scrap Your Crap Blog so we are sure not to miss anyone!!

if i have time this week i will do this one...i have the CK "Bling it on" kit and some royal blue glitter chipboard letters from Hobby lobby that are calling my name!

ooooooooooooooooooh, my very fav!!! Bling!! Dang, I won't be scrapping til next week, I am trying to be good and get my alllllllllllll the stuff done on my list before company gets here Friday! Rats. Maybe next time. I'll just enjoy all the sparklie goodness here instead. :)

I wanted to share this blingy lay out I did of my mom, my dd, and myself last summer. It is super blingy irl, lots of glitter on the different cs and pp. This is probably the worst pic ever of the 3 of us, but we had such a blast. We were crammed under one umbrella trying to stay somewhat dry. he he, it sure didn't happen!!! ;)

Greta sorry I haven't been around for a few days so I didn't see your question. I am lucky enough to live in Utah, so I get to go to a lot of scrapbook warehouse sales. CK Media had one a few weeks ago and they had a bunch of the products they sell on QVC for dirt cheap. So I got it for $15. To see it go to www.qvc.com and search for item # F03241
