i've been designing a few more items for the digi boutique
but i'd really like to know what you desire when you purchase a kit i know we all crave different things and have different styles but what do you like in a kit?
big? medium? small? different embellies? all paper? hybrid?
give it to me girls... i'm all ears!

Well for me personally I like a mix of solid papers and pattern papers - I like texture on the paper too, grungy worn shabby feel on both, I like my elements to be realistic looking! my fave elements right now are tape, buttons and bling (gem or sequins or glitter etc) I like brushes too for that nice stamped/brushed on feel!
Hope his helps :)

I use brushes and paper most often. I agree with what vickyp said about the papers.

Love lots of patterned paper choices, lots of embellies, brushes, and matching alphas are cool too. :)

Right now I am loving glitter, sequins, anything shiny. I'm also a big fan of textured papers, brushes, and funky elements.
I tend to buy more element packs then kitsl.

I tend to buy more element packs then kitsl that's funny, i think i do the opposite! i love kits since my scrap time is limited cuz designing sucks up most of my time (and those dang kids! ahhah), so i find kits make it easier for me to get my scrappin done.
As for kits... i personally like a good mix...nothing too matchy matchy, kwim?!
And def. w/ everyone else on the realistic elements!
AND my pet peeve is when people leave elements too big....like WAY out of proportion...it's a waste of file size too (IMHO!)

I look for LOTS of coordinating products that can go towards many, many pages. I like lots of unique patterned papers, I like journaling blocks, I like brushes, I like overlays, I like doodles, I like wordart, and any other fun coordinating products. I like innovation - not the same old :) It's also kind of fun to see a sample page made with the products so you can see the possibilities!
I also enjoy some templates. It helps me on those brainless days when I just need some placement inspiration.

ROFL Lauren... that's one of the biggest signs that you're new. I have some pages and kits where my brads were like 4 inches around. LOL
I'm hooked on felty and paper stuff. I love anything on lined notebook paper and well... FELT is just flat out YUMMY!

Now that I have a "few" digi items under my belt, I'm really looking for different kinds of papers. I definitely gravitate towards distressed, grungy, texture-y stuff.
But I'm finding that so much of the stuff is kind of the same old, same old. Does anyone else find this? Now that I've got a supply, I'm becoming more picky about what I download. Maybe I haven't explored the designers out there enough...
Brushes and overlays - LOVE 'em!
I'd also like some realistic looking wall-papered chipboard, with sanded edges. kwim?

Just like in REAL papers, I still love the shabby/grungy look of beautiful patterned papers in DIGITAL kits.
I also like REALISTIC looking elements that are a little bit unusual - beyond just buttons and ribbons.
I also tend to buy KITS with coordinating papers and elements.
