hey fellow digi gals (and wannabe's)!
I thought I'd start a thread on why we love digi! Maybe convert a few SISters :)
I'll start:
I love digi because
***of the convenience - all your supplies are on your computer - no glues or scraps to deal with.
***versatility - you can recolor your items, make them bigger or smaller, print them out etc.
***easy to share - it's so much easier to share my digi pages with other online - also sending them to magazine for publication is a breeze!!!

I love it for all the reasons you gave, but what I LOVE most is the convenience of the undo button. I can click it and start over again at any time. I can also reuse the "paper" as many times as I want to. I love that I can just turn off the computer, and there is no mess or supplies to store. It just fits me and my life right now.

all the above is why i love it too......w/ 3 small kids, it's HUGE to not have to clean up paper supplies when they are around...i find i can scrap more often now that i'm digi.
i also think i'm more creative in digi for whatever reason!

Yep I gotta agree with the versility of the undo button and off course the ability to recyle all those fab goodies over and over.
However, when I see all the stunning paper layouts I admit - I am getting itchy hands and would love to try that out too!

I am fairly new to digi, but what I love is the fact that I can sit on the couch indian style, with my laptop on my lap, and actually get work done!! Does that make me lazy? Oh, and I love the fact that I can scrap and "throw it out" without filling up my garbage can!!!

Yep...love the undo button, the versatility. I love how you can use the digi products over and over again. But i must say i get my inspiration from paper layouts. :)

Ditto to everything else already mentioned....but I especially love that I don't have to clean up...especially on an unfinished LO. For some reason, though, I just cannot give up the paper and embellies!! I need to buy a better printer so that I can "hybrid" a little more.

Portability - I can scrap anywhere, anytime, with just my laptop!

i'm getting quite addicted as well
i love that i can alter everything
color, size, etc
and then use it over and over and over
i also love that i can do it anywhere
and i'm a big hybrid lover too!!

Yes, I love the versatility and the undo. And I think I"m more creative in digi because I'm not committed to it because I can always undo.

I love that you can have tons of elements all in one little space and shuffle them around, instead of having to spread them out all over your desk. Plus no adhesives! I also like how you can create a shadow under each item.

I think the best part is the protability. No mess to put away before the kids get into it, no cleaning, etc.. Just haul my laptop on my lap every second I get!

Oh - I forgot at add the cost for me is cheaper. I can buy a kit and use it numerous times - all making it look different! When I bought paper supplies I could only use each thing once - stick it down and it's done. I also love that if I do a LO of both of my girls then I can just print it two or three times to put in each book.

Great thread, Cathy!
I've discovered I like digital because:
- it's cleaner. No scrap space to clean up.
- I can save my work on my computer and it's there the way I left it and I don't have to put anything away!
- Instant gratification.
- the undo key is awesome.
- digital scrapping is cheaper for me and I don't have boxes of scraps.
- it gave me a reason to own my own laptop and get off my husband's desktop. *lol*

I love the fact that I can 'cut' a paper and if I don't like the way it turns out, I can undo it! The versatility, the freedom to manipulate and completely control the way my layout looks with the opportunity to ctrl+alt+z what ends up looking like crud is a major plus!
I love the ability to not only correct minor probs and enhance my photos, but the ability I have to create lasting memories without even moving my butt from my chair. Gotta love the creativity and the beauty that are the creations of my designers, as they create products that inspire me to create lasting memories of my family, my children, and well, heck...me!

My answer would be ALL OF THE ABOVE!!! I was never a paper scrapper but once I stubbled upon digi I was hooked... and that was 2 years ago!!!

the undo button!!! gotta love that you can't screw up a sheet of paper by cutting it wrong!!!
also, for every other answer given, plus I just love working on a computer as well so it incorporates both of my loves at one time!!

Everything mentioned above! I still scrap about 80% paper but I love digi for a lot of reasons, like being able to create my own paper and embellies, love how if I am missing something I can pop online and that "just right" thing right then and there ( Ok that's dangerous to my Visa LOL).
I love that if my printer is on the fritz, I've run out of tape, the scrapdesk is a *disaster* I can still have a fun ol' scrapping seesion, just digi!
I have to admit the problem is I never know when a page is "done" I fiddle FOREVER

My ABSOLUTE best reason to love digi is how neat and clean it is! No little scraps of paper all over, no glue, tape extras... such a relief!
And it's been a long long long time since I paper scrapped (before all the fun emellishments) but I think it's cheaper! I can reuse and reuse and reuse the same paper 100 times if I want!
Oh, and one more, I don't have to have the pictures printed, i can cut/shape them however I want without hurting the original, I can use different effects on the pics... so many different options!
