Had my first digi experience with good ole scrapblog and I gotta say I think I am hooked! So easy...so instantly gratifying....ahhhhh! So less space invasive haha....
Only thing is do any of you print your digi layouts so you have physical books? I may just have to do both still but gosh I really think I may be converted ;)

scrapblog is so fun...i went digi (with pse) because SIS got me hooked...i am having a very difficult time getting back into regular scrapbooking...beware..it is addictive. as far as printing- i have made two photobooks through shutterfly and they are gorgeous! i know several digi girls do that as well. i have printed a few at home and slipped them into an album but they aren't as nice.
for scrapblog- i don't know how you print. i have saved as jpeg and can print like that but i have no idea what size they are...

Ooh that is an amazing idea to have them made into the photobooks! Would you mind snapping a couple pics of the pages of that so I can kind of see how they come out? Thanks!!!

well actually...sadly, i didn't take pictures of the finished books. i made one for my mom for mother's day so i can take pictures of hers but it may be a couple of days. i know that several people have had them printed...i think ka may have some pics of hers. it is so easy to do and not that expensive at all...i got my mom's printed during a mother's day special with free shipping and a 30% discount on the actual book.
the other book i made was for our school librarian for her retirement...i haven't actually printed a book with the individual pages that i have done- the random ones...i do plan on it, but just haven't done it yet. the two i did were for a purpose or event- mother's day and retirement.

As for printing digi pages - there are several options:
1) You don't have to too. I rarely do. And just keep them in galleries. I also post every page I make on my blog.
2) Print them at home. You can reduce them in size 8x8 or 9x9 to fit in standard sb album OR if they are not the standard sb size, you can bind them your self with a bind-it-all to make a little mini-album. Here's an example of one I did. The advantage of doing this - is you can add extra embellishments on top.
3) Use a service to print pages individually.
4) Use a service like Shutterfly to bound them in a book

Very cool indeed what great gifts! I am thinking this may be a super good option for those of us lacking in craft space too! I am truly getting hooked! Hopefully someone has some pics of theirs otherwise please do take pics of your moms! THANKS!!!

Thanks Cayla your pages are amazing! What great ideas on the mini hybrid books too! Ooh ooh I am inspired all over again with scrapping I think! Scrapblog is the answer to my scrappers block prayers!

Oh way cool challenge! Will have to see if I can get my printer up and running again though! For some reason it is telling me there is not paper in it when there sure gosh darn is! hahah....Also could u link me to KA? Guess I am not around here a lot as I have no idea who that is haha....*blush*
