	SIS TV Community / Digi Talk / Best place to start... Digi for dummies???

staramaze Model SISter (2818)	# Posted: 26 May 2008 16:47 Can anyone recommend a book or website that would be the best place to start for someone like me... a techno-idiot. I do have PSE... and can get the standard PS... I have played with photo editing and would like to delve a tad deeper into digi-craft; creating my own embellishments and the like. But I still need the basics. what do you all suggest?

cayla73 Favorite SISter (9113)	# Posted: 26 May 2008 20:33 we have some tutorials here - Kayla had a webisode on how to make a digital layout. i also love digital scrapbooking magazine -- lots of layouts and tips also: http://www.thedigitalscrapbookteacher.com/ Love jessica sprague's tutorials too. Renee Pearson also has a book on how to make elements....called Digital Designs... HTH!
grey Haute SISter (896)	# Posted: 26 May 2008 21:17 I'd suggest Renee Pearson's Digital Designs book. However, it is really basic- mostly teaching you how to use PSE for digi scrapping. It comes with a CD of different embellishments and pages...but they aren't as "real life" as the digi elements you see here at SIS...
