If I upload this to a local Walgreens, do I put the size at 8 X 10? Will this distort the picture? I have no idea how to get these printed somewhere locally rather than through shutterfly. Help please!
(I have the free 8 X 10 coupon that I wanted to use)
Thanks!
Melissa

you change the canvas size to 8x10 it will add a 2 inch space at the bottom of your picture and then upload at 8x10 - it would distor it you do it any other way.
When it gets printed you crop off the extra 2 inches. What I like to do is but small photos in the2 inch space and then I have little prints to use on layouts.

i just resized the canvas size in jpeg format. it added a little at the top and a little at the bottom. i tried to move it up so i could have the 2 inches at the bottom but it is locked. can i unlock to move somehow? (as you can see, still a little new at all of this)
thanks a bunch!

hi - sorry I didn't see your message
so when you go to change the canvas size - best to do it in the psd and then save it out as the jpg
so click on Edit - Canvas Size
The see the area below the size that says Anchor - you should be in the center - you want to click the top left box - that way when it adjusts the canvas size, it takes your current work and places it in the top left so all the additional canvas added is below your current layout and then you should get your two inches.
Let me know if that doesn't make sense or doesn't work.
