hello my genius digi girls...
well i finally broke down & bought photoshop
& the one sold at the Apple store was Adobe Photoshop Elements 4.0
but now i hear everyone talking @ Elements 6.0
i totally didn't see any other versions at the store
so...is there 6.0 out there for macs? & i should return the 4.0?
or did i do O.K.? :)

i am BEGINNER personified w/ this digi stuff :)
i'm really just looking for a tool to help me w/ my photos
& maybe print out a digi scrap label every once in a while...
mainly i'm looking for something to help me w/ photos

Hi Gigi - the current version of Elements for the Mac is the 6.0 according to the website.
Depending on how much you paid for 4.0, I would consider returning it if the price you paid was similar to the cost of 6.0. If it was much less - take a look at the website and see if there are new features that make it super compelling to switch. It does seem like they made a lot of changes to 6.0
Elements is the perfect tool for you.

i could not for the life of me find the 6.0 in the apple store...but i guess that's b/c it isn't out yet?

I use 4 and it works great for what I do, I have used it for a few years, Not even sure what more 6 offers but it would be worth figuring out :)

Yeah, 6.0 for the Mac hasn't come out yet. It's very sad....I use 4.0 and CS3. Have fun Gigi, it's addictive!

I just got my PSE 6.0 for my Mac today!! Whoo hooo, been waiting on this forever!!! Now I just have to find time to play around with it!
