I was noticing that Adobe Photoshop Elements 6 was on sale for $95 plus receive an additional $25off from a mail in rebate. But then there was the Adobe Photoshop Lightroom and it was $300.

Should you just go with the bigger is better or would it be wayyyy to complicated? For 200 less dollars is the cheaper program missing alot of stuff?

What do you think or recommend? What do you use at home to edit your photos/scrapbook digitally?

I would suggest elements for scrapbooking, because it is amazing to do that with.

Lightroom is more of a photographers tool. It is for editing and adding different presets to your photos. I don't know if you can even scrapbook with it.

I could be wrong but I don't think Lightroom is of any use to someone who is needing a graphics program to scrap with. I think it's specifically geared towards photographers. It looks like a very cool program but I think you still need Photoshop.

Yep, Lightroom is a photo editing tool. I too would suggest starting out with PSE. I still use version 4 and it does all I need it to do for scrapbooking. To be sure it's what you want you may want to download a trial version from the Adobe website.
