+33/50
i just finished in the woods by tana french.
i really enjoyed it until about the last 100 pages.
i was a little frustrated that she had the 2 detectives sleep together. that totally ruined their relationship, and i thought it was so cool.
i was also a little frustrated that they 84 case was left unsolved. i was really hoping that he could close it.
however, i am so excited to read her next one.
i'm glad i have another murder detective series.

i have a huge stack on my night stand:
trace by patricia cornwell- already read this one, but just bought it.
the mistress of the art of death
the serial killers club
story
the historian

which should i start next?

Yippee for September...
I cannot wait for the cooler fall weather...
I just want to sit on the couch with a cuppa hot tea and another good book!
I am working on The Big Bad Wolf by James Patterson...I spent the weekend having a Harry Potter movie Marathon, so I didn't finish my book as I had planned, but maybe tonight after work!

66/50

Tethered by Amy MacKinnon

** spoiler alert **

This may very well be my favorite book of the year. I was instantly pulled into the book by the end of the first page. I'm having trouble putting into words how this book made me feel. I wavered in-between sadness, fear, grief, and then joy. The final pages in this book are some of the best writing I've ever, ever read!! I truly recommend this book to anyone. I finally figured out that Trecie was the ghost of Precious Doe and that Linus didn't want to upset Clara's world by showing her the truth. But I've got to tell you...I was worried about Linus's whole involvement for quite some time!! I look forward to reading Amy MacKinnon's next book!

see now, I saw Kiss the Girls, but didn't realize that was one of his (I saw it so long ago) and still have to remind myself that he doesn't look like James Patterson, but is actually more of a Denzel...LOL! Seriously...I don't know why. :) but I could see Denzel over Morgan as Alex for sure!!

You can add 3 more to my count. I've read a few non-novels, which perhaps shouldn't count . . . but a book's a book. :) The last novel I read was "Enlightenment for Idiots" by Anne Cushman. It's a great read for anyone into yoga!! I loved the storyline, and finished the book in a weekend!!
