I made the decision (with my mom, of course) to move back home. I will be breaking my lease and it's a very unexpected, unwanted change. But, it's for the best. I have no money...the "mail" lost my unemployment extension, so I have to wait for them to mail me the paperwork again, and then wait until they get it entered into the system to get a check. It's been 6 weeks since my last check.
Anyway, today's been a bit of a rough day. (My car also broke down).
Just wanted to let you all know....It's gonna be an interesting few days, weeks and months for me, since my mom and I don't always get along....

GOd's plan doesn't always make sence to us...*i learned this multiple times* but especially this past year. HOwever the blessings can flow as great as the struggles when it is in his time.
I know this probably sounds aweful to you right now, but give it time. Make the best out of the situation with your mom, i know from your past posts she usually disappoints you, but I am praying GOD uses this time for the best and heals the relationship between you nad your mom.

During my rough marriage, I have had to seek refuge with my mom several times. So I understand the frustration with the idea of 'going to live back home'...but think of it as a chance to work on you, get yourself together and you will be back in your own place in no time.
Sometimes, it is best to look at it this way...what if you had no 'home' to go to? It is far better to be thankful for that in which God has blessed us with in an effort to give us a chance to do better with excelling. And I know you will do well! And when you are ready to be in your own place again, I want pics, hilly!! lol :)

it might be awhile....my mom kind of wants me to stay here so i can concentrate on college and get it done.....

several of the girls took the words right out of my mouth - EVERYTHING HAPPENS FOR A REASON. you might not know for ages why - another thing i've learned - i don't pray for strength anymore - as God knows i've got plenty of it - i now pray for peace of mind. peace of mind when at the end of the day i am so tired from fighting and getting over battles... and winning - that i can rest with peace of mind. chin up girl.

Thanks. :) My friend, Christina, is very happy that I'm moving back....she never thought I should have left in the first place. I have a huge support from my church which I'm so thankful for.....

You will be in my prayers...I can honestly say I know how you feel. I still live at home with my mom. I have never had the money/opportunity to move out. Right now I too am without a job. I know its hard...I pray that God will give you His strength. Just know that God has a plan and in His time He will reveal.

Oh HIlly, I had to move back in with my Mom in my mid 20's and it was so hard. I feel for you. Just do the best you can to get back on your feet! This won't last ofrever.
My Mom is gone now and looking back, I wish I would have made more of an effort to try and resolve some issues we had. Those days would have been the perfect time for it, so maybe something good will come out of this for you!

I know how hard it can be...My daughter moved back in with us for a few years and now she's out again. Use the time wisely. You never know...this time back home with mom may open new doors for you. Think positively about it and use it to your advantage...squirrel away anything and everything you can! And try to listen to what she says and try to take what you can from it. There might be some pearls in all the grains of sand.

I love all the support and good advice you are getting here at SIS. I hope that you can see some silver linings in this circumstance and keep your chin up through it all.

Good luck with the move Hilly, sounds like a great opportunity to get your finances in order and hopefully relax a bit. I don't get along with my mom either and cannot imagine the stress of living together again. Just try to keep your own personal space intact and be sure to find lots of things to keep you busy outside of the house. Who knows, maybe you two will become closer through all this.

Thanks guys...I'm feeling much better about everything. I actually slept really well last night for the first time in ages.
My mom and I moved a bunch of stuff today....we made 2 carloads. :) All of my clothes are now here and a majority of my scrapbook stuff. I can't wait to get my scrap stuff all set up. She has a dining room table and plenty of room in her basement for my craft stuff. My mom even said she might try her hand at scrapbooking!!! YAY!!!
Anyway, thanks for all the comments and support. I totally appreciate everything.

I got an amazing amount of support from my church today....they are praying for me and some of them are checking into jobs for me in the muskegon area.
My mom, her ex-husband and I went back to the apartment today and we got her ex-husband's truck full of my big stuff....and filled my mom's car with more of my little stuff.
I got my clothes put away. :) Haven't even touched the scrapbook stuff yet. Hopefully sometime later in the week. I am just so tired.
And, we are hoping to get the rest of it moved tomorrow. AAAAhhhh....
Thanks again for all of the support. :) I really appreciate it...
