they just lifted hte hurricane warning in our area. But we still have the Tropical storm warning and tornados popping up.
I feel so much for those people in louisiana right now.

My family is safe in Houston! We've been watching the Weather Channel as well as our local news on the internet, and so far so good. It doesn't look as if there will be a repeat of Katrina, but I won't let my guard down until Gustav is completely gone. I just don't want to go home and find everything I own destroyed again.

I updated my blog several times in the last 24 hours for friends and family. We are ok and safe.

Hey everyone, wanted to let you all know that we are okay in Birmingham, AL. My dad refused to come along with some of our family and where we were located was on the east side of the eye wall. Very Stressful! It took us 20 hours to get here. I'm exhausted.

shell i updated on my blog as well...i haven't lost power or cable so that is a good thing...some of the houses in our subdivision have wind damage bt so far so good....

i do have pics on my blog of what i saw earlier....but all is well for now...we are high and dry!!
