How about making the world a better place one person at a time today....sometimes it is the little things that make all the difference in the world.
If you want to leave some great ideas here please feel free and make it a great day!!!!
Hugs, BIT

What to make a strangers day? Smile at them...I cant tell you how many times I have been walking around on a bad day and had a complete stranger smile at me. It just changes my whole day. So go out there and give someone a smile :)!

Donate school supplies.
Call your local school district or Salvation Army to see how/what to donate. Many families are feeling the money crunch and donations are at a low. Children often suffer embarrassment and peer pressure when they don't have all the required supplies. Not only can you help a child and their family but YOU can have fun shopping!

When you put your shopping cart in the corrall in the parking lot, take one minute to stack them straight and grab any nearby strays. Shopping cart corraling is a most thankless job and why not give them that much less time in the Sun, Rain or Wind.

Woohoo - ladies - you got it!!!
I love how our school puts all the supplies together with no names....they share...and throughout the year the will send notes home with needs....
I would have never thought about that idea - wonderful!!
Lea - Love that and how simple is that too? Smile and pay them a compliment??

I often thought if I had extra money that I would go through a drive-thru and pay for the person behind me's meal. And just instruct the person in the window to tell them that it was an Random Act of Kindness.
But most of the time I go I'm scrounging for pennies to pay. I guess I'll just have to plan it someday (at the beginning of the month).

Buy Local!! Support your local farmers, and skip some of the pricey (both ficscal & environmental) shipping. (Can ya tell I have been influenced by "Animal Vegetable Miracle"??)
Here's a link to California's Buy Fresh, Buy Local--I'll bet your state has a page too.

Buy Local!!
I WHOLE HEARTEDLY AGREE! I think that should apply to hardware, restaurants and scrapbook stores versus AC Moore and Hobby Lobby (and yes, SIS counts as a local...)
