I'm painting my room today.
I'm painting it white, because I bought this bedding: my love
Then I'll go back later & do something with black...not 100% sure what though.
i'm so excited to get the awful bright blue // green combo off my walls!!
i'm waiting for my padre to get home so we can get started!!!
i'll post before/during/after pictures later.

I just finished taping everything.
That was fun....I guess.
Coldplay's Viva La Vida album got me through it.
And then I went to the paint store.
Benjamin Moore Ice White.
It has blue undertones which my paint friend tells me will complement the blue in my bedding.
It's perty.
Off to do a coat of primer to cover up the atrocious bright blue.

for the black, maybe you could do like, 3 really thin stripes around the top of your wall.
i've always thought that looks so classy.

i totally want a chandelier...i drool over the ones from urban outfitters
but in atlanta (they call it hotlanta for a reason) you totally need a ceiling fan. maybe i can find a chandelier ceiling fan.....lol

Oh, and I just finished my first coat of primer. I'll do one more coat of primer tonight...then tomorrow I'll paint the white. Probably 2 coats for that.

if you don't want a ceiling fan, maybe you could find some of those old vintage-y fans..

yippee the first coat of real paint is up
--it looks just like the primer--
whatever, i love it.
30 minutes then we do 2nd coat.
then we are done done done.
and my bedding comes in tomorrow!!!
it has been sitting at the ups sortation center by my house ALL FREAKING WEEKEND.
i wanted to go & pick it up. lol.

Love that bedding! :) It's going to look really cute. :) Wal*Mart used to have some really cute black chandeliers that you could just hang from a corner of your bedroom, you might check there! :) It looked similiar to this one by the brilliant Rachel Denbow! :) Love how she used Hambly to make it.
