I LOVE fried pickles!!! Sooo good. Weirdest thing I have tried would have to be biscuits...one of my girlfriends had this great idea that it would taste like a donut. Not so much; it was gross!

My parents tricked me into eating a frog leg. 25 years later and I am still bitter. Never had the occasion to try any of that other stuff except alligator and bananas and I passed on both.

Hmm.... we don't eat that much fried food in Sweden and definately not all these strange (but funny-to-read-about-and-say-yuck-about) things. Fried potatoes aren't that weired, huh...? =)

Fried Oreos. Not bad, actually better than a funnel cake since its the batter wrapped around an oreo!

I think the strangest thing I've heard of - but not tried - is fried bacon. Cuz yanno it really needed all that extra fat?
seriously- the deli at my winn dixie will fry the bacon for you. it's da bamb! super crunchy & all. really i only did it once when i needed like 3 pounds of bacon for something & was NOT about to fry it at MY house!
but hell, batter it, fry it & serve it up around here! have y'all seen the fried snickers bars at the carnival? that seems a bit much to me. --aimee

I will say this - If I thought it was weird, I definitely wouldn't have eaten it! I'm not that adventurous when it comes to food... :)

I have a huge phobia about eating things that come from water...I know, weird right!?!? So I got tricked into calamari after a few cocktails one night. Lets just say my hubs slept on the couch after that one!

fried dill pickles. super nummy! i was introduced to them at a restaurant called "the hollywood" across the border from memphis. They were soo nummy! haven't had any as good since, they don't quite get it up north. ;) fried ravioli super good at our local italian restaurant as an appetizer. fried green tomatoes really good too. a restaurant in Galena sells them with marinara sauce. i wouldn't recommend eating them that way when you are 8 months pregnant and have extreme heartburn anyway.
