yep, you girls have pulled me into the twilight force. picked up the first book at target tonight and as soon as i put my ds to bed, i'm digging in.
how could i resist? you girls make it sound so lovely and magical...i'm prepared to be amazed!

okay, so i'm a little over 100 pages in and i'm very intrigued. unfortunately, i'm off to vbs for the day so no reading until this afternoon :( i haven't looked at any pics for the movie and this is EXACTLY what i pictured edward to look like! i love it <3
i can't wait to find out more*more*more about the mysterious edward and the confused little bella!

and to think the fandom was screaming from the rooftops that he was a HORRID choice. *shakes head*
however - I do want an explanation on the EW cover... I am anxiously awaiting what the letters to the editor will say and EW's response. I don't know if they were trying to be CAMP or if they were trying to be literal and the photoshop didn't work out or the editor was sick etc etc. lol. However - they more than made up for that cover with the pictures in the article.:)
However part 2 - I am still kind on the fence with Kristen Stewart as Bella though - I guess I have to see more of her movies to really understand her- i guess I just don't like her interviewing style. *shrugs*
I however DO love the director of this film - Catherine Hardwicke. a) she has an amazing personality, b) I love the movies she choses to direct c) she has an uncanny way of spotting amazing casts d) doesn't she remind you of our lovely Diane? :) Seriously - I mean that as a compliment!

I am still kind on the fence with Kristen Stewart as Bella though -
I think Kristen Stewart will be great. I absolutely loved her in Speak. She can really show a great range of emotion. It's just funny to me to see her with the brown contacts for Twilight because she has such beautiful blue eyes.
I loved him as Cedric Digory in Harry Potter, Goblet of Fire, so I am totally excited!
(admits to watching GOF and fast forwarding to only watch the scenes that Cedric was in!)

finished "Twilight" at 4:00 p.m.!!! not bad while maintaining my duties as a wife and a mother of a 2 year old :D
and yes, i am totally ready for NEW MOON! maybe i'll go to wal-mart and buy it...
you girls started a bad thing creating another addict, but i loved the book so much and edward...swoon!
