I just finished a book that I doubt many will be flocking to the stores for (except maybe Korbyn, but it's her choice:) The Breastfeeding book by Dr. Sears and his wife Martha. A good book, if you're into that sort of thing. that makes my tally 17/18

Finished The Water Method Man by John Irving. I didn't get into it as much as his others. But it was still decent.
Right now I am reading The Fourth Hand by John Irving. I love it. I love his writing. I love his characters.

The Breastfeeding book by Dr. Sears
I would be flocking but I've already read it. Can't imagine you need instruction on that at this point!?!

I usually love his characters more than anything, but he made it really tough for me in this one, I did like a couple in this one (mainly the female ones). The main character was a little like an underdeveloped Garp to me (it was written before The World According to Garp, so maybe he was). I will still be an Irving fan though, I'm not going to kick him out of bed.
Can't imagine you need instruction on that at this point!?!
Sadly, I'm a breastfeeding flunky thus far, I was merely an infant when Niles was born and I gave up. Twins was just too traumatic, so I gave up...I am determined with this one:)

FYI...flunky is a very popular term from my growing up days.
Probably much like Class out the Azz at your homestead.
Sorry you were unsuccessful. Twins would be freaky (to me) - still find that double football nursing hold to be quite spellbinding!! Good luck with your endeavors!!

Good luck this time...but you do scare me into thinking it may be too hard for me...will you still love me if I am a flunky too?

I don't want to totally hijack this thread by talking about boobies, (we'll chat later:) but I will say that anyone can do it if they are committed enough (I just wasn't) and yes, I'll still love you.

just finished the mole people. it was interesting to hear the stories of people who actually live there, instead of the horror stories or urban myths that surround them. it did seem like it took forever to get through, though it only took me about 4 days. i give it 2 out of 5.

I just finished When you are engulfed in flames it's David Sedaris' new one. I did get a couple of fits of the giggles, but it's not the same as when he's talking all about his family. Still a good read, I love him.
AND I HAVE MET MY GOAL!!!! 18/18
The best part about it is it's before the baby has been born and I can just keep one going!!:)

When you are engulfed in flames it's David Sedaris' I'm going to get some more of his books - I enjoy his dark humor. :) I hear Barrel Fever is good, too.
Just finished Naked by David Sedaris. I love reading his [embelished?] memoirs of life!
Also finished reading Moloka'i by Alan Brennert. This is a historical fiction based on the lives of those who were sent to Moloka'i because they had leprosy. Time frame spans about six decades, beginning at the turn of the century. A fantastic book.

Korbyn, George RR Martin will rock your world!! I was totally into Robert Jordan and then I happened upon Game of Thrones in a bookstore in Utah and fell in love with his style and the way he writes fantasy!! If you love these you need to pick up Robin Hobb Apprentice Series!! She kicks some serious butt in the fantasy realm also!!
Have fun! Staci

Angry Housewives is a must read
The lady I got this from said this is a pretty good book.
Surviving the Applewhites is a great kids book and I think that you will like it
I saw this one at the library this morning and thought it looked like a good one, so I was glad to get it.
I read Book of Ruth a long time ago and wasn't that wild about it.
I asked the lady about this one because I thought I had heard a lot of people didn't like it, It's an Oprah book. She said it was pretty good. Don't know until I read it.
Thanks for the help ladies.
