I am SOOOOOOO upset. I read an amazing book by Nora Roberts. It's a trilogy, but unbeknownst to me......the third one hasn't been published yet. Therefore, I am STUCK!
UGH.
I am going to the library to get the second one tonight.
I am going to have to find more good read since I will have the house all to myself for 5 days!

Madapple by Christina Meldrum

This book has received a lot of great reviews and praise but for some reason i wasn't that wild about it......it wasn't a waste of time but I never really felt connected to the main character. And for me if there isn't that then I don't really enjoy a book.

O.K. Ladies........don't hurt me but I'm just now reading New Moon!! Please let me explain myself!!!!

Have you ever fallen in love with a book and all of the characters? I have many, many times. In fact, I did it with Outlander. After the first 2 books I couldn't wait until the 3rd one came out. When it did I used my Christmas gift card and bought the book. It sat on my bedstand for over a year!! My husband was like...Why don't you read that book? and I replied....Well, when I do it will be over! My people will end.....(he doesn't get it)!! That is how I feel about the Twilight Series. I just don't want it to be over. Felt that way about Harry Potter too. So I'm weird!! but I'm trying to get through New Moon and Eclipse so that I can devour Breaking Dawn this weekend. But I'm afraid...will it end there? or can this love affair keep going on?

Thanks for listening :)

Staci....It doesn't end there!!!
She is writing Midnight Sun which is the story from Edwards point of View!!!
but yes, I totally understand. This is my problem with series and sagas because I can't read them slow enough to keep them going....
I keep wishing for more H.Potter too..but that is why I keep re-reading them!!!

Staci I understand too. Its hard to not get yourself/heart involved in these stories. I want to know what happens to Edward and Bella but at the same time Its coming to a close....But now I can look forward to Midnight Sun.

well you guys of all people will appreciate this little story that I feel the need to share.

Last night, I went to Walgreens to pick up some stuff, and while I was there, I decided to look at some books.
So, I picked up 2 Nora Roberts, and 2 James Patterson....
Then, I get home, and raid my mothers bookshelves....I took 10 from her one bookshelf!
um...so, why did I spend money on the other 4 when I am not even going to get to thoser right now????
Not to mention the fact that on Friday, I will have Breaking Dawn, and no other book will matter!!!

19/50

read two books....one called Sunrise...one called Summer. By author Karen Kingsbury. And, just to let you know...during Summer, I sobbed...literally had tears falling from my face. They are fiction books, part of a series, but I cry easily. :)

It is a disease!! I love collecting books and just thinking about being able to read it at any given time. Kind of like a good wine!!!! :)

Just finished Plainsong by Ken Haruf.
I enjoyed it - a simple, timeless tale.
Puts me at 18/24

Finished 3rd Degree by James Patterson --book number 3 in the Women's murder club....totally forgot that I was reading those!! LOL
I started number 4 last night...about 1/2 way through so I should be adding another tomorrow. :)

Staci--glad you finally read New Moon! Out of the 3, I can't pick a favorite, but there are different things in each book that I LOVE...Eclipse had a LOT of things that I love..:)
