Don't know if anyone started this thread- since I have been in bed sick for a couple of days. *worst Mother's Day ever being sick*
But I am curious as to what everyone got for Mothers Day!?

I got a sweet sweet card, a Vert bag (that I picked out) and I thought that was all I was getting. But, Chris and Ella went to town and Ella brought me an American Monroe (That is what Ella calls Marilyn Monroe) DVD *Some Like It Hot* and another card. Since I was in the bed, she thought I would like this DVD to watch and she knows how much I love "American Monroe" Isn't that sweet?

I got some cute stuff that my daughter made at daycare, the movies "PS I Love You" and "Must Love Dogs," and this was a combo graduation/Mother's Day gift - a gift card to a local spa for a massage. Mmmm - one of my fave things, next to scrapping.

Congrats Erin on your graduation!!! I just graduated this weekend too:)
For Mother's day I got a gift certificate for a prenatal massage, which is GREATLY appreciated:)

I got a walk at the Nature Center with my family, where the kids all brought their cameras so that I could have lots of pictures to scrapbook. And a double-dip cone at UDF afterward!

was a great mom's day for me:
breakfast in bed. trip to botanical gardens for photos. anthologie scrapworks album (to arrive later -- they ordered it on mother's day ;) hand-made card. lots of me time. hand-picked flowers during a walk to park. dinner out (the night before to beat the crowds) I did end up cooking lunch and dinner but it was yummy so i didn't mind.
hope everyone had a great day too!

a big fat nothing!!!
I had to twist the hubs arm to pick me up a toaster sandwich from the country store down the road from the house, and when he got there it was CLOSED!!! Argh.

Lunch out
Then pulled out pictures and supplies and hubby and 2 sons made their annual sb page for me. Husband did one on his high school football letter blanket that he gave to a girl and never got back until 35 years later....a woman is my sister in laws office brought it to her to give back! He did lots of journaling
#1 son did a cousins page
#2 son did a page of the Music city bowl with his dad.
I love it!
Then we went to see Iron Man!

My 23 year old daughter made this scrap table organizer for me and my other dd, octopusouphut gave me a book journal - to keep track of the books I read and to write down what I thought of them. We went out to eat at a Mediterranean restaurant on Sat night. We had horrible weather on Sunday so we stayed at home and just dh and I had dinner at home on Mother's day.

I thought my new car was my Mother's day present, but on Friday (hubby left for Iraq Saturday) he and Haydi took me to dinner at Red Lobster, then when he went to "the bathroom" he really snuck out to the car and brought me diamond earrings. And the card was too cute, it was one of the musical ones from Hallmark, with a picture of Michael Keeton on the front from the movie Mr. Mom and he was holding a baby in front of the hand dryer in a restroom. When you opened it you could hear the dryer. I was pleasantly suprised. And we got to order dessert!

well i am a "cat mum" so my lovely gf got me a gift on their behalf.
and i got the box set of britney spears perfumes, all the cute mini ones.
i hate britney but looooove her cute perfumes.
so i was totally spoilt!!
and i spent it with my mum,first time in forever, well since i moved away from home years ago.
so i got dinner cooked, and didnt do a thing :D

i went home for mother's day to spend it with my mom.
and my dad bought me a mother's day present too, since i'm a dog mom!!
he got me organic home spa stuff. so cute.

well - because i laid my mothers necklace on his night stand about a week before Mothers day - i got my baby girls birthstone added - wouldn't have happened if i didn't remind him! But - he did let me sleep in and made me breakfast!!

ummm . . . i don't have it yet. the "big" gift anyway. dh is such a procrastinator! on saturday he asked me if i'd rather have the gift on time or have it cost less. a horrible decision to be sure, being the cheapskate i am i picked "cost less" and he ordered it online. it was supposed to be here today. but, the tracking says it's not close. so, i'll let you know when it gets here. he promises it is super cool and i will be very happy with him.
on mother's day i got lots of lovely cards from the kiddos and 2 beautiful hanging baskets for my front porch (which is what i asked for) and some cut flowers too. he also moved my scrap table to standing height. and wired some under cabinet lights for me. so, i have already been spoiled.

I got breakfast out, and a cute hat to cover my sunburned scalp (ouch) We spent the day at the river, it was nice just to be out and about with the whole fam.

I was spoiled.
We spent the week before in the Bahamas w/ no kids, just hubby & I.
Then came home on Saturday evening. Sunday morning my husband wouldn't let me lift a finger....which I had already done all the week before!!
The kids then gave me a bunch of Hambly.
Hubby gave me a Prada purse and a Coach bag. AND the treadmill that I've been wanting. (no more getting up at 5 am to go running!! YAY!)
Then we spent the day swimming and HAVING A BLAST. The kids didn't fight. (bonus!)
It was a like this dream....only it was real. Prolly the best Mom's day I've had in my 7 yrs as a mommy. But, being a mom every day is special.
